Health News Reporting in Media is not only good for the public's understanding disease problems and health medical knowledge,preventing and reducing the incidence of disease,as well as promoting citizens 'health behaviors,but also helps the Government to improve the National health policies and medical security system.Therefore,it has important academic significance and application value for the media construction of Diabetes research.Based on the frame theory and social marketing theory,this study took the diabetes news reports of NetEase news from 2008 to 2017 as samples,by applying content analysis and text analysis methods,to discuss the frame,logic,problems and improvement strategies of diabetes issue construction in Chinese Network media.In this paper,it conducted an overview analysis about the diabetes report samples during the 10-year period,and followed by a specific analysis of the diabetes patients involved in the diabetes report samples during the 10-year period,and finally the text analysis about the comments,which involved in the diabetes report samples during the 10-year period.Through content analysis and text analysis,it found that the annual coverage of diabetes in the Chinese Network media is diversified,but the number of Media reporting is not stable,especially in the Diabetes day,the number of reporting are often increasing exponentially.It takes shape an ?occasion phenomenon? in Health News Reporting.In particular,the number of reports is the Type 2 diabetes,and ?Rich man's disease? is still the label of diabetes.In the report,the medical frame is the main reporting framework,resulting in that the patients were considered as the ?protagonist?,and often become the ?silent majority?,the reports usually lack subjectivity and discourse power.The media reports about the construction of patients' media image is mainly focused on neutral issues,but the number of negative reports is higher than that of positive ones,among them there are irregularities and inducements in the reports of diabetes medical advertisements.However,in general,the demographic characteristics of reported diabetes patients are close to the real world,and their views are objective.In the setting of audience topics,the audience interaction degree is very low that there existed the reading preference.The content of the feedback from the audience is directivity,mainly short comments and keening on reverse interpretation,but there are problems with vulgarization and violence of language.In the frame of the construction of the diabetes issue,the media has a staged and passive construction of the diabetes issue,and its reporting frame has gradually shifted from a single emphasis on the ?medical frame? to an emphasis on the ?personal frame?,and the communication mode of the diabetes issue has also shifted from a ?unilateral propaganda? to a focus on the ?bidirectional interaction?.Based on the issues of construction,the choice of reporting frame,as well as the audience issue settings,has led to reports exist selectivity,the spread of lay particular stress on its content abstract medical knowledge,lack of scientific and readability,the diabetic patients was often objective and stigmatized by the media,with the media commercialization and marketization concept influence,it indirectly led to the media credibility crisis and other issues.Therefore,according to the above problems,this paper argues that those strategy,integration strategy,differentiation strategy and entertainment-education strategy,can be used for solving the problems.With the help of a healthy advertising transmission power,the mass communication and spread of focus,the combination of some entertainment and health education activities,so it can't optimize media diabetes issue construction strategy,also can promote the interaction between the audience and the media.This study has three main innovations.First,based on the idea of time series analysis,it has studied the diabetes report and its topic construction for a long period of time,and it dynamically analyzed the construction framework,logic and dilemma of the diabetes issue in the Chinese media in the past 10 years.Secondly,the paper makes a comparative study between the patient's media image in the construction of diabetes issue and the image in the real society,investigates the differences between the media image and the real image of patients with diabetes,and deeply analyzes the reasons for the differences.Thirdly,the cognition and evaluation of the audiences on the construction of the diabetes issue were included the research content,the audience comments and feedback in the construction of the diabetes issue,which were analyzed in the text,it further enriched the content of the construction of the diabetes issue,and was conducive to further analyzing the problems in the construction of the diabetes issue from the perspective of the audience.
