| Objective: To investigate the relationship between thyrotropin and uric acid(UA),blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipid and body mass index(BMI)in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: A total of 254 patients with type 2 diabetes and normal thyroid function who were admitted to the second endocrinology department of shengjing hospital affiliated to China Medical University from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected.Measure height, weight,SBP and DBP and test FBG,HbA1 c,TC,TG,LDL-c,FT3,FT4,TSH and UA.Analyze the correlations between TSH and blood pressure, blood lipid,FBG,BMI and UA.Results: 1.According to gender, there were 2 groups.FT3,UA and BMI of males were significantly higher than that of females(P<0.05).Age,course of disease,TSH and total cholesterol of female were significantly higher than that of male(P<0.05).2.Acording to the TSH values of male and female, individe 254 patations into TSH<2.5 uIU/mL group and TSH 2.5uIU/mL group respectively.BMI,fasting blood glucose and uric acid levels of the TSH≥2.5uIU/mL group were significantly higher than those that of the TSH < 2.5uIU/mL group within females.BMI,DBP and uric acid in the TSH≥2.5uIU/mL group were significantly higher than those in the TSH < 2.5uIU/mL group within males, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between TSH and various indexes of all selected subjects.Only BMI,UA,FT4 and TG were statistically significant, and the correlation coefficients were 0.297,0.55,-0.208 and 0.127,respectively.BMI,fasting glucose and uric acid levels of women were positively correlated with TSH(P < 0.05),and the correlation coefficients were 0.332,0.219 and 0.632,respectively.BMI,diastolic blood pressure and uric acid of men were positively correlated with TSH(P < 0.05),and the correlation coefficients were 0.316,0.204 and 0.541,respectively.FT4 and HbA1c %was negatively correlated with TSH,with correlation coefficients of 0.248 and 0.176,respectively,which was statistically significant. Conclusion: Even in type 2 diabetics with normal thyroid function, small changes in thyrotropin can affect weight, uric acid, fasting blood sugar in women and diastolic blood pressure in men.. |
