The Clinical Application Of Negative Pressure Endometrial Sampler In Screening Endometrial Lesions

Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of endometrial cytological and histopathological diagnosis,the quality of tissue samples,and the clinical value in the early diagnosis of endometrial lesions using negative pressure endometrial sampler.Method: A total of 95 patients undergoing hysteroscopic surgery from June 2016 to September 2017 at The First Hospital,China Medical University,were selected.First,a disposable negative pressure endometrial sampler was used to obtain samples for cytological and histopathological examination.Then,hysteroscopy was performed by the same operator.The safety and satisfaction rate of specimens and the consistency of the pathology(cytological and histopathological examination)were recorded and compared.Result: The satisfaction rates of specimens obtained from the negative pressure endometrial sampler in combined cytology and histology and hysteroscopy were 96.84% and 100.00%,respectively,without statistical difference(P > 0.05).Using hysteroscopic results as the gold standard,the sensitivity,specificity,and coincidence rate of the negative pressure endometrial sampler for cytological examination were 77.78%,92.21%,and 89.47%,respectively,whereas those for the histopathological examination were 77.78%,98.70%,and 94.74%,respectively.The sensitivity,specificity,and coincidence rate of the combined diagnosis were 100.00%,90.91%,and 92.63%,respectively.Hemorrhage,perforation,cervical laceration,and other complications were not observed.Conclusion: The negative pressure endometrial samplers can be used for early screening of endometrial lesions and is a simple and safe operation.The combined cytological and histological diagnosis of endometrial lesions is highly accurate and safe.
