Objective: We sought to investigate the 1-year mortality and to identify associated risk factors in a bullous pemphigoid cohort. Methods: Bullous pemphigoid patients between January,2011 and May,2017 were recruited in this retrospective study.Prognosis demographic datas, clinical condition, laboratory indexes, comorbidities, regimen of treatment and prognosis of BP patients were recorded. The survival situation among bullous pemphigiod was analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier survival analysis.Student's t test,Logrank test and Cox regression analysis were involved in the progress of finding risk factors. Results: A total of 110 BP patients were included in the study. The mean patient age at diagnosis was 70.69±10.51 years(range 40-93).Among the bullous pemphigoid cohort,80% patients have comorbidities, such as hypertension(36.36%)and neurological diseases(28.18%).Patients were followed up for a minimum of 1 year or until the time of death.By Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, the 1-year mortality of the entire cohort was 16.4%.On multivariate analysis,Advanced age(>75 yesrs old)and bedridden state were associated with higher death risk. Conclusion: The 1-year mortality rate was 16.4%.Advanced age and bedridden state were risk factors of the 1-year mortality.
