Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)is a new class of multifunctional crystal polymer composed of light elements(H,B,C,N,O,Si)through strong covalent bonds.Compared with traditional porous materials,COFs have many unique properties, such as light weight, large surface area, large pore volume, adjustable pore structure, good solvent stability, and thermal stability.Since the first report of the synthesis of covalent organic framework by Yaghi group in 2005,this new type of multifunctional organic polymer, which is completely covalently bonded and has excellent performance, has attracted more and more attention of researchers.Up to now,the application of COFs has covered many fields including gas storage, drug release, optoelectronic applications, separation, and catalysis. This thesis mainly discusses the synthesis of COFs and their applications in the field of separation science. The thesis includes the following chapters:In Chapter 1,the development status of COFs at home and abroad were reviewed, including the structure, properties, synthesis, types and applications of COFs.In Chapter 2,with 3-(aminopropyl)triethoxysilane(APTES)used as a linking group,1,3,5-triformylphloroglucinol(Tp)and p-phenylenediamine(Pa-1)as the reaction monomers, the COF-TpPa-1 was bonded onto the inner wall of the capillary column through in-situ growing. The morphology and surface properties of COF-TpPa-1 coated capillary column was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),and X-ray powder diffraction(XRD).Benzene and its derivatives and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)were separated on the COF-TpPa-1 coated capillary column in CEC.The effects of the concentration and pH value of borax buffer, and the content of organic additive were investigated. The separation performance of the prepared column was also evaluated in capillary electrochromatography(CEC)using amino acids and anilines as the tested analytes. The results showed that under the optimized conditions all thetested analytes could be baseline separated, and the capillary column also showed good stability. In Chapter 3,the COF-TpPa-1 coated capillary column was used to establish a method for simultaneous determination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen in Baostai(compound ibuprofen tablets). The results showed that the established method was simple, effective, accurate, and reliable. It could be used to simultaneously determine the contents of ibuprofen and acetaminophen in Baostai(compound ibuprofen tablets). In Chapter 4,in our previous works,a series of tartrate/polyol-boric acid complexes were in-situ synthesized in methanol medium and applied as chiral selectors in NACE to separate some chiral amino alcohols.Though most of these chiral drugs obtained good enantioseparation, there were still a few of them could not been well separated.Based on the previous works,COF-TpPa-1 coated capillary column and L-tartrate-boric acid complex was used as the separation medium and the chiral selector, respectively. The results showed that the tested chiral drugs could obtain better resolution on the COF-TpPa-1 coated capillary column compared with bare capillary column. The presence of COF-TpPa-1 on the capillary column improved the chiral separation. In Chapter 5,conclusions and prospects were made.
