Objective: To appraise the clinical effects of the Yiqi Yangyin method in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis. Methods: According to the systematic evaluation method formulate the inclusion and exclusion criteria and retrieval strategies.Firstly, literature on the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis by qi-yang and yangyin methods was retrieved from the databases of cnki,VIP,wanfang,PubMed and Cochrane library, the time limitied before December 1,2018.All the retrieved literatures were imported into the EndNoteX7 software, then delete the repeated literatures and read the literature abstracts, and the original documents described in the abstracts were obtained. The literatures that met the standards were evaluated and data extracted, and the results were recorded in the excel table. The extracted data is Meta analysis with the Rev Man 5.3 software. Results: 1.18 RCTs including 1767 patients accorded with criteria were included. There were 902 cases in the treatment group and 865 cases in the control group. The population and disease baseline of the literature were relatively uniform, but the quality of the included literature was low,and the diagnostic criteria and efficacy criteria were not uniform. The Meta analysis result shows that compared with western medicine,Yiqi Yangyin method were more effective in improving clinical efficacy(OR=4.62(95% CI[3.46,6.16])Z=10.41 P<0.00001),gastric distension effect(OR=9.00(95% CI[4.39,18.47])Z=5.99 P<0.00001),stomachache effect(OR=13.20(95% CI[5.96,29.23])Z=6.36 P<0.00001),loss of appetite effect(OR=14.75(95% CI[5.45,39.95])Z=5.29 P<0.00001),belching symptoms(OR=3.87(95% CI[1.68,8.93])Z=3.18 P=0.001)and the difference was significant. There was no significant difference between the incidence of diarrhea(OR=0.88(95% CI[0.32,2.39])Z=0.26 P=0.80)and the western medicine treatment group. The relapse rate of Yiqi Yangyin group was lower than that of western medicine group(OR=0.21(95% CI[0.06,0.73])Z=2.45 P=0.01).2.The regularity of 18 prescriptions was analyzed.Among the 18 prescriptions,59 kinds oftraditional Chinese medicines were used, which occurred 192 times. The Chinese medicines with more than 10 application frequency were radix ophiopogonis, atractylodes atractylodes, radix ginseng, radix paeoniae alba, liquorice,Chinese yam and dendrobium. The application frequency was more than 10 times, followed by qi tonic,Yin tonic, blood tonic, xiaoshi medicine,qi regulating medicine,heat-clearing and blood-cooling medicine.According to the frequency statistics, the five tastes were ranked from high frequency to low frequency,in the order of sweet > bitter >octane b>acerbity > astringent >mild > and salty.3.The sequence of channel tropism is Stomach > spleen > lung > liver > kidney > heart > kidney > small intestine > large intestine > bladder > pericardium > gallbladder > triple energizer. Conclusion: The literature included in this system evaluation indicates that the therapeutic effect of Yiqi Yangyin method is more effective in clinical efficacy, gastric distension effect, stomachache effect, loss of appetite effect, belching symptoms and the difference was significant.General adverse reactions and recurrence rate were lower than western medicine treatment group, but there was no difference from the diarrhea.Since the evidence intensity of this Meta-analysisis limited, the above conclusions are still validated by more high-quality studies.
