Objective To investigate the changes of serum parathyroid hormone(PTH)level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and the relationship between PTH level and renal injury indicators.Method 143 patients with T2 DM diagnosed in our hospital from December 2017 to December 2018 were divided into 5 groups according to the GFR stage, and 30 healthy persons were selected as the control group. The serum PTH,RBP,Cys C,SCr and BUN were detected, and the differences among the groups were compared. To analyze the correlation between PTH and other indicators.Results(1)The levels of Cys C,SCr,RBP,24-hour urinary protein,BUN and PTH in the case group increased significantly at the stage 1,the stage 2 and the stage 3,with statistical significance of differences among groups(P<0.05).(2)PTH was positively correlated with course of disease,SCr,RBP,Cys C and BUN(r=0.616,0.786,0.378,0.216,0.102,P<0.05),and correlated with GFR(r=-0.540,P<0.05),but not with 24-hour urinary protein(P>0.05).Conclusions(1)Serum PTH levels in patients with T2 DM increased significantly at GFR3 stage, increasing with the severity of renal injury.(2)PTH was positively correlated with course of disease,SCr,RBP,Cys C and BUN,and contrary correlated with GFR,but not with 24-hour urinary protein.(3)Cys C was the earliest anomalous indicator of renal injury, then the levels of SCr,RBP and 24 h urine protein increased significantly at GFR2 stage.
