Objective 1.To analyzed retrospectively between Microscopically peripheral nerve involvement?S100 protein and other risk factors associated with colorectal cance,To investigate the role of peripheral nerve involvement and S100 in the development and prognosis of colorectal cancer?2.To analyze the consistency of microscopical peripheral nerve invasion and immunohistochemical detection of S100 protein in detection of peripheral nerve invasion in colorectal cancer. To further improve the detection of peripheral nerve involvement in colorectal cancer?Method Data of patients admitted to the colorectal surgery department of the general hospital affiliated to ningxia medical university for colorectal cancer resection from October 2016 to December 2017 were collected,According to the subject, the first primary colorectal cancer to be included in the surgical treatment has complete clinical data,Preoperative examination data and imaging data, postoperative pathological data and postoperative pathological sections were preserved completely in patients with colorectal cancer,Patients with incomplete data and preoperative chemoradiotherapy were excluded.Finally,333 patients who met the research criteria were selected. The peripheral nerve invasion of colorectal tumor was observed under the microscope,At the same time, the expression of S100 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry, respectively negative and positive for peripheral nerve invasion under the microscope,Negative and positive S100 proteins were detected by immunohistochemistry,The relationship between S100 protein and colorectal cancer risk factors was analyzed by X~2test or Fisher's exact probability method respectively,The results of peripheral nerve invasion under microscope were consistent with those of S100 protein detected by immunohistochemistry?Results1.Relationship between peripheral nerve invasion under microscope and risk factors related to colorectal cancer ?Among the 333 patients in the group,175(52.55%)were positive for peripheral nerve invasion under microscope, and 158(47.45%)were negative for nerve invasion,Microscopically peripheral nerve violation result positive and microscopically peripheral nerve negatie in tumor invasion depth of T stage(X~2= 14.941,P =0.002)?Lymph node involvement is known as N staging(X~2=20.322 P=0.000)?TNM staging(X~2=25.941 P=0.00)?Degree of tumor differentiation(X~2=24.787 P=0.00)?Lymph-Vascular Space Invasion(X~2=20.042 P=0.00),The difference was statistically significant? There was no significant difference with the patient's gender? age?tumor marker CEA?tumor marker CA199?tumor location?tumor size?preoperative intestinal obstruction or not,and distant metastasisThe difference was not statistically significant,(all P >0.05)?2.Relationship between S100 and colorectal cancer risk factors?Among the 333 patients in the group,265 cases(79.58%)of S100 protein positive patients and 68 cases(20.42%)of S100 protein negative patients detected by immunohistochemistry in 333 postoperative pathological specimens of the whole group? Immunohistochemical S100 protein positive and lymph node involvement,N staging(X~2=7.137 P=0.028)?TNM staging(X~2=9.570 P=0.023)?Degree of tumor differentiation(X~2=3.928 P=0.048)?Lymph-Vascular Space Invasion(X~2=20.02 P=0.000)The difference was statistically significant. And the depth of tumor invasion(X~2=1.611 P=0.657),Distant metastasis? in gender?age? tumor marker CEA?tumor marker CA199?tumor location? tumor size? and preoperative.?There were no statistically significant differences(all P >0.05).3.Microscopically,the relationship between peripheral nerve involvement and S100?There were 333 patients in the whole group 175(52.55%)patients with positive peripheral nerve invasion under the microscope,S100 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry There were 265(79.58%)positive cases,The positive S100 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry in patients with peripheral nerve invasion under microscope A total of 169(50.57%)cases were reported,Those with negative peripheral nerve invasion under microscope and negative S100 protein detected by immunohistochemistry62(18.62%)cases,The difference between S100 protein detected by HE staining and peripheral nerve invasion under the microscope was statistically significant(P <=0.000<0.05)?Line testing the consistency of both analysis results K value is 0.368<0.400,Therefore,it was considered that the results of the two tests were not highly consistent, and the positive rate of S100 protein detected by immunohistochemistry was higher? Conclusion :1.S100 protein and microscopic peripheral nerve invasion were significantly correlated with TNM staging, vascular invasion, tumor differentiation and lymph node metastasis in colorectal cancer,Furthermore, both peripheral nerve invasion under microscope and infiltration depth of colorectal cancer were statistically significant and could be used as independent risk factors for colorectal cancer staging and prognosis?2.The detection consistency of S100 and periscopal encroaching under the microscope was not high, the detection sensitivity of S100 was higher, but its specificity was not high, the relationship between the two still needs to be further studied.
