Background and Objective: According to statistics,there were about 415 million patients with diabetes globally,and further more there would be more than 642 million patients in 2040.Diabetes had been becoming one of the world's public health problems which seriously threatened human health due to its insidious development of multiple complications and high disability and mortality.Due to the inappropriate treatment plan,the lacking chronic disease prevention and control awareness,the low compliance,the poor self-management ability,the imperfect social security system and the uneven distribution of medical resource,only 32.6% outpatients with type 2 diabetes reached the blood glucose standard in China.The task was to explore the management and service mode of pharmaceutical chronic diseases in Grade-A Tertiary Hospital.This study analyzed impacts of improvement education in early type 2 diabetes patients,to achieve the goal of promoting the compliance of diabetes patients,the ability of self-management,and the safety and efficiency of treatment.This research explored the way of increasing the efficiency of diabetes management in the conditions by taking advantage of pharmacist.And it proved references for the mode of chronic diseases management for community pharmacists.Methods:(1)By conducting the questionnaire survey of type 2 diabetes patients in the outpatient department of Chengdu Third People's Hospital,the subjective tendency of patients to receive patient education and the main demand points were analyzed.The content of patient education was revised according to results of questionnaire,thus in order to increae the pertinence and effectiveness of patient education.(2)The randomized study was conducted in 318 early type 2 diabetes patients who were educated by pharmacists.By comparing the difference in patients' compliance,curative effect,self management ability,basic knowledge of diabetes grasp,service satisfaction,we explored the efficiency of different ways of communication to improve the results of patients education.Results and Conclusions: After 6 months of our study,the compliance,efficacy,self-management ability and service satisfaction of patients in the experimental group were significantly improved.No significant differences had been found in the comparison with other results.The analysis of the effects of communication stylegrouping study showed that different communication styles reflected different educational effects,providing a realistic basis for improving work efficiency.Under the background of scarce medical resources,this study aimed to explore a more efficient way of patient education,which had practical significance to improve pharmacists' work efficiency and social value.
