Gestures are a form of children's non-verbal communication, replacing speech or in combination with speech to convey a specific message.Gesture disorder in children with autism is a key factor in their early diagnosis. The gesture obstacles are: gesture imitation obstacles, gestures spontaneous use obstacles, etc.Intervention studies on gesture disorders in children with autism are based on therapists and based on gesture imitation in children with autism. In recent years, researchers have used NAO robots as a model to intervene in gesture disorders in children with autism and verified the effectiveness of NAO robots.Compared with people,NAO robots have the following characteristics:1abiotic;2repeatable;3 programmable. This will undoubtedly bring new hope to the status quo of autism intervention for the shortage of resources for rehabilitation teachers, and bring new ideas for the rehabilitation of children with autism.Different model conditions affect the imitation performance of children with autism.Although studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of NAO robots in the gesture intervention of children with autism, there is a lack of research on the effects of different demonstration conditions on the gesture imitation of children with autism based on NAO robots. When the NAO robot is used as a model,it involves factors such as model speed, presentation of speech, interaction between robots, and model perspective. On the basis of combing related literatures, the author selected the iconic gestures and conventional gestures as the gesture types of this study, and compared the gesture imitation performance of autistic children based on real people and NAO robots based on different perspectives.Systematic exploration of the effects of different model conditions based on NAO robot on two types of gesture imitation in children with autism,in order to provide scientific rehabilitation suggestions for the application of NAO robots in the field of gesture intervention for children with autism. The main contents and results of this study are as follows:1.A Comparative Study of Gesture Imitation in Autistic Children during Real Human and NAO Robot DemonstrationThrough 2×2×2 three-factor repeated measurement experiment design, the imitative scores of autistic children based on real-life and NAO robot from different perspectives were compared. The results show that the imitation of the gestures of children with autism in NAO robots can achieve the effect of real-life model(p>0.05),and there is no significant difference between the first and third perspectives(p>0.05).In each dimension of the gesture,The orientation of the hand and the choice of the hand are greatly influenced by the model perspectives(p<0.05).2.Research on the influence of different model speeds of NAO robots on gesture imitation in children with autismThrough the 3×2 two-factor repeated measurement experiment design, the performance of two types of gestures for children with autism based on NAO robots at different model speeds was investigated in order to obtain the optimal model speed. The results of the study showed that the main effect of the model speed was significant(p<0.05).When the speed slowed to 75% of the normal speed, the imitation scores of children with autism reached the highest point.model speed significantly affected the imitation of exercise amplitude in children with autism(p<0.05).3.Research on the influence of NAO robot-based speech prompts on gesture imitation in children with autismThrough the 2×2 two-factor repeated measurement experiment design, the influence of the speech prompt of NAO robot on the gesture imitation of children with autism was explored. The results showed that the main effect of speech prompts was significant(p<0.05);that is,speech prompts can significantly promote the imitation of gestures in children with autism. In the various dimensions of gestures, speech prompts can significantly promote the imitation of autistic children in the hand shape(p <0.05).4.Research on the influence of social interaction based on NAO robot ongesture imitation of children with autismThrough the 2×2 two-factor repeated measurement experiment design, the influence of the social interaction of NAO robots on the gesture imitation of children with autism is explored. The results of the study are as follows: the main effect of the model condition is not significant(p>0.05),that is,social interaction does not significantly promote the imitative irritation of children with autism;in all dimensions of gestures, social interaction can significantly promote the imitation of autistic children in the direction of movement.(p<0.05).The innovation of this research:1.For the first time, based on different model perspectives, compare the model effects of real people and NAO robots on gesture imitation of children with autism.2.The effects of different model conditions on gesture imitation of autistic children based on NAO robots are systematically discussed, which provides specific guidance for the application of NAO robots.
