Objective:To study the digital reconstruction and preoperative simulation of reduction of Pilon fracture,and to guide the application of intraoperative reduction.Method:Obtaining the original CT scan data from 4 patients who were admitted to the Shengjing hospital with the diagnosis of Pilon fracture from July 2018 to December2018.Imporing the original CT scan data into Mimics19.o software to reconsctruct the3-dimenson digital models of the target limbs.Isolating the bone fragement pixel collection by editing the mask through the region growing principle and manual operation.Obeserving the characters of each bone fragment for preoperative evaluation and the simulation of reduction of fracture,and to guide the application of intraoperative reduction.The operation time of the Mimics group was compared with that of the conventional treatment group.Results:The 3-dimension digital models of Pilon fracture were successfully demonstrated,and the clinical operations were guided by the muti-angle and all-round evaluation and simulated reduction before operation.All subjects achieved good reduction effects under the assistance of Mimics19.0 software.Compared with the conventional treatment group,the Mimics group took less time to operate.Conclusion:Mimics19.0 software can preoperative reconstruct the model and simulate reduction of the complex Pilon fracure.It also did better than DR and CT scan and 3D CT reconstruction helping doctors to obeserve the inside anatomy of fracure.With a more detailed preoperative plan,we can be more familiar to the surgury step and make better cooperations.The operation time and the amount of bleeding and radiation exposure dose were both elimated.Also the soft tissue can be more protected with less unnecessary exposure.Patients can start the rehabilation earlier.The accurate reconstruction of articular surface builds a foundation for the postoperative complication such as traumatic arthritis.
