Objective: To explore the difference of the effect of kangaroo mother care on heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, weight and milk volume of premature infants, and to explore the difference of the effect of kangaroo mother care on anxiety status of implementers. Methods: A total of 132 premature infants and their parents were selected from the Second NICU of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from September2017 to June 2018.The subjects were divided into mother group(67 cases)and father group(65 cases)according to their parents’ wishes. Before and after the first intervention,SAI was used to assess the anxiety status of the implementers. The first intervention lasted for 1 hour and then for 2 hours. The heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature of premature infants were recorded 15 minutes before and at the end of the intervention. The implementers went to the hospital daily to carry out kangaroo mother care until the premature infants were discharged from hospital. After the premature infants were discharged from hospital and returned home, the implementers continued to intervene once a day for 2 hours each time for at least 2 weeks.Researchers followed up the implementation of Wechat every day and recorded the weight and milk volume of premature infants during the first and second weeks of kangaroo care.SPSS22.0 software package was used for processing and analysis, the counting data were expressed by frequency and percentage, and chi-square test was used for counting data;the measurement data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation(`x±S).The comparison between groups conforming to normal distribution was made by two independent samples t test, and the Mann-Whitney U test which did not conform to normal distribution was used by non-parametric test. The test level was0.05 on both sides, when p<0.05 the difference was statistically significant.Result: 1.There was no significant difference in sex, gestational age, weight, head circumference, chest circumference, length, age, weight and milk volume of the first intervention between the two groups(p>0.05);there was no significant difference in age, educational level, body temperature and the number of times of kangaroo mother care in hospital between the two groups(p>0.05).2.There was no significant difference in heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature between the two groups before and after intervention(p>0.05).3.There was no significant difference in body weight and milk volume between the two groups in the first week and the second week of intervention(p>0.05).4.There was no significant difference in SAI score between the two groups before intervention(p>0.05);but there was significant difference in SAI score after intervention(p<0.001).5.Non-inferiority test of heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature in preterm infants before and after intervention.According to previous literature, the non-inferiority threshold of heart rate is-4.25,the non-inferiority threshold of blood oxygen is 1.45,and the non-inferiority threshold of body temperature is 0.2.The difference is significant(p<0.001).The non-inferiority test is valid. Conclusion: 1.The effect of kangaroo mother care by father on heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, weight and milk volume in two weeks was not inferior to that by mother.2.Kangaroo mother care can alleviate father’s anxiety more than mother’s.
