Objective:To investigate the effects of different parameters of PRF on patients with post-herpetic neuralgia and PRF therapeutic regimen effects on pain improvement and recurrence rate.Methods:120 patients with post-herpetic neuralgia in our hospital were enrolled in this study.According to the different PRF treatment parameters, they were divided into group A(voltage 45V+duration 600S),group B(voltage 45V+duration 900 s).Group C(voltage 65V+duration 600s),group D(voltage 65V+duration 900s),30cases each.VAS and treatment-related complications were recorded after treatment in each group.Patients were followed up for one month after discharge from the hospital, including VAS score,SF-36 health scale score, patient satisfaction, and pain relief rate. Results:The voltage parameter effect was significant at 3 days after PRF treatment:F(1,16)=14.447,P=0.000<0.05,and the time parameter effect was not significant:F(1,16)=1.434,P=0.234>0.05 And there is no interaction.Survival analysis suggested that group C and group D were superior to group A and group B,and the improvement of radiofrequency time had a certain improvement in curative effect. The short-term incidence of complications was 3.6%,χ~2=1.2 P>0.005 and was independent of grouping. Conclusion:The 65V voltage parameter has better therapeutic effect than the 45V in short-term and long-term follow-up.The 900s comparing to 600s has a certain degree of superiority in long-term follow-up but it cannot be reflected in the short-term treatment effect.
