Objective:To explore the risk factors of delirium in ICU patients, and to provide reference and basis for preventing delirium effectively and reducing its negative effects. Methods:Pub Med,CNKI and EMbase were retrieved by computer(2013-2108).At the same time, manual retrieval was added to collect relevant studies on delirium of ICU patients.Case control studies were mainly conducted. Two evaluators conducted quality evaluation and data extraction for the screening article respectively, and then used Rev Man5.3 software to conduct meta-analysis on the combined effect amount and its clinical significance. Results:A total of 26 literatures were included, including 13599 subjects, including 4994 cases of delirium patients and 8605 cases of non-delirium patients. Results of metaanalysis showed that: Age(MD = 4.11),gender(OR = 1.14),drinking(OR = 1.99),APACHE ?(MD = 3.75),infection(OR = 4.66),respiratory disease(OR = 1.69),renal insufficiency(OR = 1.44),and mechanical ventilation(OR = 4.57),mechanical ventilation time(MD = 37.50),and composed(OR = 3.24)was statistically significant, and other included risk factors, like smoking,BMI,Hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease, analgesia and SOFA score were not statistically significant. Conclusion:Based of comprehensive literature, now think older men, drinking, high APACHE ?,infection, combination of respiratory system disease, renal insufficiency, mechanical ventilation, sedative drugs are risk factors for delirium in ICU patients.
