Objectivez:CVST is a rare cerebrovascular disease with complex factors. In recent years, many studies show that anemia is associated with the onset of CVST,but this assumption is mostly based on case reports and case analysis of small samples. At present, there is still controversy about whether anemia is a risk factor for cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. This study is to conduct a large case-control study to determine the relationship between anemia and CVST in Chinese population, and to explore the relationship between different degrees of anemia, different types of anemia, anemia series and CVST.This study is to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of CVST.Method:A case-control study was conducted in this study.Peoples with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis who were admitted to the Department of Neurology, the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January 2011 to January 2019 were selected as case groups, all cases were consistent with Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Intracranial Venous System Thrombosis in 2015.The control group consisted of healthy subjects who matched the age,sex with the case group. The clinical data of patients, including age, gender, and past history, were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical symptoms and signs were recorded and physical examination and laboratory test results were collected.Differences between the two groups were compared by t-test,non-parametric test,and?2 test, and independent risk factors were screened by logistic regression analysis.Results:1?Of the 161 patients in the case group,69?42.9%?were male and 92?57.1%?were female, with an average age of onset?39.35±15.17?years,the most common sites of CVST were transverse sinus?78.9%?and sigmoid sinus?74.5%?,and the lower sagittal sinus?6.8%?are rare.2?RDW,RBC and HGB were significantly lower in the case group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The number of anemia in the case group was significantly higher than that in the control group.Among them, the number of small cell hypochromic anemia was higher than that of the control group?P<0.05?,and the number of mild anemia and moderate anemia was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.3?Women patients have more anemia than male patients.Among them, women patients have more abnormalities in small cell hypochromic anemia than male patients, women patients have more abnormalities in mild anemia and moderate anemia than male patients, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.4?The incidence of oral contraceptives in patients with anemia is higher than that of non-anemic patients. The incidence of focal neurological deficit was higher in the group and the anemia group than in the non-anemia group, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The difference between the two is statistically significant.5?The results of anemia series analysis showed that folic acid was significantly lower than that of healthy controls, and the number of iron deficiency anemia was significantly higher than that of healthy controls?P<0.05?.6?Logistic regression analysis showed that anemia, small cell hypochromic anemia, mild anemia, moderate anemia, folate deficiency and elevated RDW were independent risk factors for CVST.Conclusion:1?Anemia may be an independent risk factor for the onset of CVST.IDA may be an independent risk factor for the onset of CVST.2?Folate deficiency may be an independent risk factor for the onset of CVST,and there is no significant correlation between vitamin B122 and CVST.
