In Tibetan medicine,the "Nixue" disease is a kind of mental disease.It is closely related to the patient himself,his family and society.In recent years,with the rapid development of social economy,people's work pressure and psychological pressure have increased sharply,which is easily to cause loneliness and even psychologically separate from society,and form mental disease.Since suffering from mental disease has many negative effects on individuals,families and society,it is of great significance to study mental illness in Tibetan medicine.Objective 1.Through the examination of ancient books,literatures and classic works of Tibetan medicine,we analyzed and summarized the causes,classification and characteristics of “Nixue” disease in Tibetan medicine,hoped to provide the basis for diagnosis and treatment of the disease.2.Compare "Nixue" disease with schizophrenia,and explain their similarities and differences from the aspects of etiology,symptoms and classification.Method This study mainly uses a combination of theoretical research and comparative analysis.Based on the Four Medical Tantras and classic literatures of Tibetan medicine,the relevant literatures were collected,we compered “Nixue” disease with schizophrenia in western medicine,to analyze the etiology,classification,symptoms and diagnosis and treatment of the two diseases.Conclusion 1.Through the literature to review the psychological changes of "Nixue" disease in Tibetan medicine,it is found that the disease is caused by the combination of internal and external factors,and the most important cause is excessive psychological stress.2.From the aspects of etiology,symptoms and classification,the "Nixue" disease in Tibetan medicine and schizophrenia in western medicine were compared.The characteristics and diagnosis methods of mental disease in Tibetan medicin were described in detail and systematically,which laid a theoretical foundation for the development of special treatment plans in Tibetan medicine.
