Clinical Efficacy Of External Application Of Chinese Medicine Hot Package In The Treatment Of Residual Lumbodorsalgia In Patients With OVCF After BFMCs

Objects:To investigate the clinical efficacy of external application of Chinese medicine hot package in the treatment of early residual lumbodorsalgia in patients with Osteoporosis vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)after Bone filling mesh container(BFMCs),and to provide a reference for the treatment of early residual low back pain after BFMCs.Methods:In this study,according to the order of admission,patients with residual low back pain after BFMCs for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were divided into the experimental group(Chinese medicine hot package group)and the control group(hot water bag group)by random number table method.The experimental group was treated with external application of Chinese medicine hot package,and the control group was treated with external application of hot water bag.Both groups were treated with anti-osteoporosis therapy for a course of 1 week and a treatment cycle of 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy was evaluated from VAS visual simulation score,number of lesion segment tenderness points,ODI dysfunction index and activity ability evaluation before treatment and at the end of 1st,2nd week,all the data were statistically analyzed using SPSS22.0.Results:50 cases of the experimental group and 49 cases of the control group completed the research as required.The baseline information of the patients,such as age,gender,preoperative bone mineral density,fracture segmental distribution etc.,was similar between the two groups(P>0.05).1.Pain relief:There were no statistically difference between the two groups in patients' VAS visual simulation score and number of lesion segment tenderness points before the treatment(P>0.05).The VAS visual simulation score and the number of lesion segment tenderness points compared between the two groups at the end of 1st week and 2nd week after the treatment,the score of the experimental group was lower than the control group,there were statistically difference(P<0.01).The VAS visual simulation score and the number of tenderness points in lesion segments before and after the treatment compared between the Intra-group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Functional improvement:There were no statistically difference in ODI dysfunction index and activity ability evaluation between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05).The ODI dysfunction index and activity ability evaluation compared between the two groups at the end of 1st week and 2nd week after the treatment,the score of the experimental group was lower than the control group,there were statistically difference(P<0.05).The ODI dysfunction index and activity ability evaluation before and after the treatment compared between the Intra-group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Total efficacy comparison: The efficacy evaluation comparison of two groups after 2 weeks treatment,the experimental group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Both external application of Chinese medicine hot package and hot water bag can relieve the residual lumbodorsalgia after BFMCs and improve the activity functional of patients,but the effect of external application of Chinese medicine hot package is better,with the advantages of safety and convenience,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
