[Objective]To study the difference between bone pouch vertebroplasty and percutaneous balloon dilatation vertebroplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic fracture of spine.[Methods]The clinical and imaging data of 81 patients with osteoporotic fracture of spine treated in the first affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from March 2018 to March 2019 were analyzed retrospectively.the clinical and imaging data of 81 patients undergoing vertebroplasty due to osteoporotic fracture of spine were analyzed.Among them,19 patients underwent bone pouch vertebroplasty(mesh bag group)and 62 patients underwent conventional balloon dilatation vertebroplasty(PKP group).Standard thoracolumbar radiography,CT and MRI were performed before and after operation. The imaging parameters of anterior and lateral radiography were compared before and after operation, including anterior edge height, posterior edge height, midline height and cobb angle of sagittal position, puncture side height and non-puncture side height, midline height and cobb angle of coronal position. The infiltration of bone cement during operation was compared between the two groups.[Results]In sagittal position, the anterior edge height, posterior edge height, midline height and cobb angle of the two groups recovered significantly compared with those before operation, but there was no significant difference betAveen the two groups(P>0.05).In coronal position, the height of puncture side, the height of non-puncture side, the height of midline and the angle of cobb in the two groups were significantly higher than those before operation, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).In the mesh bag group,1 case of bone cement penetration occurred, the permeability of bone cement was 5.3%,In PKP group, bone cement penetration occurred in 9 cases, and bone cement permeability was 14.5%(P?0.298).[Conclusion]There was no significant difference in the propping effect of the injured vertebral formation between bone filled mesh bag and percutaneous balloon dilatation. However, the permeability of cement in bone filled reticuloplasty is low, which improves the safety of vertebroplasty.
