There have been a lot of reports on the experimental animalization of gerbils in China,but the inbred gerbils have not been reported.The inbred gerbils were bred by cerebral ischemia model and the type of loss cerebral artery.At present,there are two branches of inbred animals after 20 generations,named CMU/1(Capital Medical University capitalization)and CMU/2.In this study,121 gerbils with cerebral ischemia were bred according to the method of inbred animal pairing,and the data of fetal interval,litter size,growth and development were obtained.At the same time,four blood coagulation indexes of inbred CMU/1 and CMU/2 gerbils,inbred F344 rats and BALA/c mice were measured,and the differences among different animals were compared.The coagulation characteristics of the inbred gerbils of cerebral ischemia model were determined.In addition,22 indexes of blood physiology and 17 indexes of blood biochemistry of gerbils were determined,and the differences between CMU/1 and CMU/2 in some biological characteristics were compared.Analysis methods of biochemical markers in reference to domestic and foreign universities and mice A total of 26 biochemical gene loci suitable for gerbils were screened,and the homozygosity of 26 biochemical markers in two different branches of gerbils was detected.The results are as follows:(1)The results of the study on reproductive performance showed that: The birth weight of CMU/1 and CMU/2 was 2.5 g to 3.4 g.The litter size ranged from at least 1 to the most 9.The survival rate of weaned litter was from 65% to 75%.The shortest litter interval was 14 days,whereas the longest 171 days.The weight gain at 2 to 6 week-age was rapid.There was significant difference in litter size between CMU/1 and CMU/2 ischemia inbred gerbil.Genotype seems has no affect on the reproductive characteristics of ischemia inbred gerbils.(2)The results of physiological and biochemical indexes showed that: The 12 indexes of GLU,CRE,TG,CHOL,PLT,MPV,BAS,LYM%,PDW,HCT,MCV and MCH were significantly different between male and female.CMU/1 and CMU/2 were significantly different in female ALT,PLT and PDW,and HDLD and MCH in male were significantly different.There were significant differences in ALP,ALT and AST between strains.The genotypes of ischemia inbred gerbil have a certain effect on blood biochemical and physiological indexes.Comparison of four items of coagulation,the APTT and FIB of CMU/1 and the FIB of CMU/2 of ischemia gerbil displayed high standard deviation.The PT and FIB of CMU/1 and CMU/2 showed significantly different compared with that of F344 rat.The APTT of both ischemia inbred gerbil lines demonstrated significant difference compared with BALB/c mouse and F344 rat.The 4 coagulation factoers of ischemia inbred gerbil lines are consistent with that of inbred BALB/c mouse,which are significantly different from that of inbred F344 rat.(3)All of 26 biochemical marker loci could be detected successfully in inbred gerbil lines of 121 gerbils.Thereinto,24 loci exhibited monomorphism within and between CMU/1 and CMU/2.However,the loci Es-3 and Es-4 showed polymorphism between two lines.The biochemical marker method for genetic detection of inbred gerbil has been successfully established.The 26 biochemical marker loci for inbred gerbil line CMU/1 and CMU/2 has been confirmed with homozygosity(100%).These results indicated that two inbred lines match the standard of inbred laboratory animals(GB14923-2010).In this research,the cerebral ischemia inbred gerbils CMU/1 and CMU/2 were established to study the population genetic structure and biological characteristics,which is significant for learning the genetic status of cerebral ischemic gerbils and obtaining the basic data of biological characteristics,and laying a foundation for its wide application in clinical medicine and biology.At the same time,this research also provides reference for studying the mechanism of clinical cerebral ischemic injury,and preventing and treating cerebral ischemic diseases.
