Objective: In this study,three-dimensional reconstruction of scapula CT was performed with Mimics19.0 software,and the anatomical parameters of coracoid process and glenoid cavity were measured.And we also studied whether there were significant differences in gender,age and ethnicity between the anatomical parameters of coracoid process and glenoid cavity,providing data reference and theoretical research basis for orthopedic surgeon undergoing Latarjet and Bristow-Latarjet surgery.Methods: We screened the patients who visited the orthopaedic clinic of Lanzhou University Second Hospital from January 2017 to May 2018,and the patients who undergo three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction of CT in shoulder joint.Finally,A total of 84 patients were enrolled in the present study.Mimics19.0 software was used to perform 3D reconstruction of CT and measured the anatomical parameters of coracoid process and glenoid cavity.All the data were statistically analyzed by SPSS23.0 software,and the data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation(?x±s).All anatomical parameters were compared between genders using independent-samples t test.Comparison of all anatomical parameters among age groups was analyzed by using one-way ANOVA.The correlations among all anatomical parameters were performed by Pearson correlation.All anatomical parameters were compared with domestic and foreign parameters using one sample t test.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: The Mimics19.0 software was used to measure the anatomical parameters of the coracoid process and the glenoid cavity in 84 patients,the data were recorded as follows:(1)The mean length of the coracoid was 41.6±4.04mm;(2)The mean height of the coracoid tip was 9.05±1.83mm;(3)The mean width of the coracoid tip was 13.09±2.06mm;(4)The mean height of the coracoid tip at 15 mm was 10.15±1.89mm;(5)The mean width of the coracoid tip at 15 mm was 13.80±1.95mm;(6)The mean distance from the coracoid tip to the coracoid midpoint was 20.80±2.02mm;(7)The mean height of the coracoid midpoint was 11.12±1.97mm;(8)The mean width of the coracoid midpoint was 14.59±2.07mm;(9)The mean of the safe margin for coracoid process osteotomy was 22.48±3.10mm;(10)The mean glenoid anteroposterior distance was 27.86±2.69mm;(11)The ratio between the height of the coracoid tip and the glenoid anteroposterior distance was 32%(23%-44%);(12)The ratio between the width of the coracoid tip and the glenoid anteroposterior distance was 47%(32%-64%);(13)The ratio between the height of the coracoid tip at 15 mm and the glenoid anteroposterior distance was 36%(25%-49%);(14)The ratio between the width of the coracoid tip at 15 mm and the glenoid anteroposterior distance was 50%(40-62%);(15)The ratio between the height of the coracoid midpoint and the glenoid anteroposterior distance was 40%(31%-53%);(16)The ratio between the width of the coracoid midpoint and the glenoid anteroposterior distance was 52%(41%-62%).This study reported significant differences between the males and females in all anatomical parameters(P<0.05).All anatomical parameters showed no significant differences in age(P>0.05).The results showed that all anatomical parameters had a significantly positive linear correlation(P<0.05).The anatomical parameters of coracoid process and glenoid cavity are not only different from those of foreign countries,but also different from different regions and nationalities in China.Conclusions:(1)The mean length of the coracoid,the mean height of the coracoid tip,the mean width of the coracoid tip,the mean height of the coracoid tip at 15 mm,the mean width of the coracoid tip at 15 mm,the mean distance from the coracoid tip to the coracoid midpoint,the mean height of the coracoid midpoint,the mean width of the coracoid midpoint,the mean of the safe margin for coracoid process osteotomy,and the mean glenoid anteroposterior distance.All these anatomical parameters of males is greater than that of females,statistical analysis showed significant differences between the males and females in all anatomical parameters(P<0.05).(2)There were no significant differences among age groups in all anatomical parameters(P>0.05).(3)The results showed that all anatomical parameters had a significantly positive linear correlation(P<0.05).(4)The anatomical parameters of coracoid process and glenoid cavity are different from those of published literatures at home and abroad.(5)The safety margin for coracoid process osteotomy are different from those of published literatures at home and abroad.
