Systematic Review And Meta-Analysis Of Chinese Medicine Combined With Acupuncture And Moxibustion In The Treatment Of PCOS Infertility

Research purposes: This study uses meta-analysis method to analyze comprehensively and systematically the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of PCOS infertility,as well as its current situation and existing problems in scientific research design and implementation process,in order to provide reliable evidence-based medical basis for further improving its clinical research level,clinical medication and literature quality.Method: According to the PICOTS principle of evidence-based medicine,a reasonable literature retrieval strategy was designed,and the randomized controlled trials of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of PCOS infertility were searched comprehensively and systematically.Data extraction and quality evaluation were carried out for the included literature.RevMan 5.3 software was used for statistical analysis or descriptive analysis.Result:1.Fifteen articles were included in the literature,including 1115 patients,559 in the treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture and moxibustion,556 in the control group of Western medicine.2.Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine group is better than western medicine group in improving pregnancy rate.Qualitative description results: Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine was superior to or equivalent to western medicine group in improving total effective rate,ovulation rate,FSH,LH,LH/FSH,T,estradiol levels.Conclusion: Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine is superior to western medicine alone in improving pregnancy rate and has certain safety.However,the data show that the methodological quality of the clinical randomized controlled trials of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine for PCOS is low,and no definite conclusion can be drawn.Potential publication bias exists.The clinical efficacy and safety of the randomized controlled trials are expected to be further validated by more high-quality,large-sample and multi-center trials.
