Objective To analyse the technical points of transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion assisted by intervertebral foraminoscopy, and to make a statistical comparison between traditional open lumbar interbody fusion and transforaminal interbody fusion assisted by intervertebral foraminoscopy in the treatment of diseases,so as to provide a basis for the selection of surgical methods for diagnosis and treatment of lumbar diseases,so as to serve the majority of patients.Method From November 2016 to November 2018,60 patients with lumbar disc herniation(L4-L5)caused by lumbar degenerative diseases and with indications of intervertebral fusion without contraindications were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group by random grouping software. The experimental group(30 cases)was treated with extraforaminal lumbar interbody fusion assisted by foraminoscopy, while the control group(30 cases)was treated with traditional open posterior lumbar interbody fusion. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative X-ray frequency, visual analogue scale(VAS)and 6-month intervertebral fusion rate were recorded.Statistical software SPSS25.0 was used to compare and analyze the data results. The measurement results were expressed as mean(+standard deviation).Paired sample t test was used in the group and independent sample t test was used between the groups. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Result The operation was successfully performed in both groups. There was no significant difference in gender, age, lesion segment and preoperative VAS score of low back pain between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time of the experimental group was longer than that of the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in the experimental group was significantly less than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The number of times of X-ray used in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, showing statistical significance(P<0.05).The VAS score in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group immediately after operation(P<0.05).The intervertebral fusion of the two groups reached grade I after 6 months follow-up,and the difference was not significant. There was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion Through the comparative analysis of the parameters obtained by the two groups of patients,it can be seen that for the cases selected to strictly implement the inclusion and exclusion criteria, transforaminal extraforaminal interbody fusion assisted by foraminoscopy is safe and feasible, and can achieve the same clinical effect and satisfactory interbody fusion rate as traditional open posterior lumbar fusion.Compared with the traditional open surgery, the transforaminal interbody fusion assisted by foramen endoscopy has smaller incision, less blood loss and less immediate pain, but the operation takes longer and requires more X-rays.
