The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Phlegm-heat Yu Jie Depression By Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of phlegm heat stagnation type depression by Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan original recipe and to comb out typical cases,and to explore the clinical effect of this medicine on depression,in order to seek for new ideas and effective formulas to treat depression.Methods: This subject selected 62 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of depression episode in the third edition of Chinese Classification and Diagnostic Criteria of Mental Disorders(CCMD-III)and the syndrome differentiation criteria of phlegm-heat stagnation of Depressive Diseases in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),were treated with Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan,for a period of one month(four weeks),to analyze the changes of scores in the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and TCM symptom Scale of phlegm-heat stagnation Depression patients before and after the treatment of Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan.Results: According to the statistical analysis,Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan had therapeutic effects on the phlegm-heat stasis depression,of which the total apparent efficiency of depressive symptoms was 75.81% and that of TCM symptoms was 77.42%.In terms of improving depression,there is no gender difference in the treatment of Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan,but it is related to the patient's course of disease,the longer the course of disease,the better the treatment effect.In the aspect of improving TCM symptoms,the treatment effect of Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan on female patients is better than that of male patients,the depressive symptoms with different course of disease have different curative effects,and the longer the course of disease,the better the therapeutic effect;According to the rank sum test,Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan had therapeutic effect on TCM symptoms of depression patients with phlegm-heat stagnation.After the rank-sum test,Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan had a therapeutic effect on the depressive symptoms of patients with phlegm heat stagnation type depression.Conclusion: Meng Shi Gun Tan Wan has the effect of purging fire and expelling phlegm,relieving depression and promoting qi.It has a good effect on depression of phlegm-heat stagnation type,and has obvious improvement effect on various symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine and depression of patients.
