Effectiveness Of WeChat Combined With Weiyoubot Health Education On Quality Of Outpatient Bowel Preparation Before Colonoscopy

Object:To explore the influence of health education methods of We Chat combined with Weiyoubot on the quality of bowel preparation,the compliance of bowel preparation and the satisfaction of bowel preparation of outpatients with colonoscopy,and to analyze the influencing factors of insufficient bowel preparation.It provides a scientific basis for the bowel preparation health guidance program selected by the staff of the Endoscopic Center.Methods:1.From January to May 2018,551 outpatients undergoing colonoscopy in the Digestive Endoscopy Center of the Corps,the first affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College,were selected as the subjects of the study.a randomized controlled study was conducted.The subjects were divided into control group(276 cases) and intervention group(275 cases).2.Interventions: health education was carried out through We Chat combined with Weiyoubot.The control group was given routine oral and written educational guidance.3.Bowel preparation methods: both groups were treated with the same polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder 2L oral combined with dimethicone for bowel preparation,and the contents of health education were the same.4.Evaluation methods: the unified Boston intestinal preparation scale(BBPS) was used to evaluate the quality of bowel preparation,the visual analogue scale was used to evaluate the satisfaction of the subjects with bowel preparation health education,and the bowel preparation compliance scale was used to evaluate the compliance of the subjects.Results:There were no significant differences in age,sex,nationality,educational level,whether to prepare the intestines for the first time,smoking,drinking,constipation,diabetes mellitus,abdominal / pelvic surgery history between the intervention group and the control group.1.The left colon BBPS score(2.19 ±0.58) and total BBPS score(6.56 ±1.17) in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group(2.08 ±0.59 and 6.32 ±1.08)(p<0.05).2.The incidence of bowel preparation adverse reactions in the intervention group was 11.3%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(19.9%)(p<0.05).3.The compliance of bowel preparation guidance diet,medication and bowel preparation in the intervention group were 78.5%,84.7% and 93.1% respectively,which were higher than those in the control group(50.0%,65.6% and 86.6%).The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).4.The satisfaction score of bowel preparation health education in the intervention group(9.44 ±0.80) was significantly higher than that in the control group(9.19 ±1.04)(p<0.05).5.Influencing factors of bowel preparation: Logistic regression analysis showed that the frequency of defecation was less than 5 times(OR=24.234,95%CI:8.983-65.379,p<0.001) and constipation(OR=3.415,95%CI:1.498-7.786,p=0.003) is a risk factor for intestinal insufficiency.Conclusion:The health education method of We Chat combined with Weiyoubot can improve the quality of bowel preparation of colonoscopy subjects,at the same time,improve the compliance of colonoscopy subjects and improve the satisfaction of colonoscopy patients with bowel preparation.It is a succinct and effective way of health education.Constipation,health education methods and defecation frequency < 5 times are the risk factors of bowel preparation.
