Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Complex coils as the initial framing coils embolizing the intracranial lobulated aneurysms. Methods From April 2017 to April 2018,34 patients with lobulated aneurysms were treated with Complex coils as the initial framing coils in neurosurgery department of the first affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. We analyzed the data of these patients,Raymond grading criteria were used to classify aneurysm occlusion during intraoperative and follow-up,and modified mRS scores were analyzed. Results Intraoperative angiography showed the degree of aneurysm occlusion: out of 34 lobulated aneurysms,Raymond I grade in 27 patients(79.4%),Raymond II grade in 5 patients(14.7%),Raymond ? grade in 2patients(5.9%).A total of 31 patients were followed-up by angiography at6 months after operation, and no recurrence was found. The results indicated that Raymond I grade in 28 patients(90.3%),Raymond II grade in 3 patients(9.7%).There were no complications associated with Complex coils happened during perioperative period. Conclusion The result that Complex coils was selected as the initial frame is well, the dense embolization rate was high, and the complications did not increase.
