Prostate cancer is the most common malignant tumor in the male reproductive system at present. The use of tumor markers plays a positive role in the early detection and determination of tumor stages, especially in improving the cure rate and efficient follow-up.At present, the majority of patients accidentally find the existence of tumor through the elevation of serum PSA,but its specificity is not high, easy to be affected by a variety of external factors, there are some limitations. With the gradual understanding of prostate cancer screening and the exploration of molecular knowledge of tumor, there is more than PSA test in the screening method.NCCN guidelines in the United States have included %PSA,Phi(prostate health index),PCA3 gene test and 4K score into clinical practice. In order to further deepen the understanding of new tumor markers for prostate cancer, this paper will review the progress and clinical significance of 4K score in early clinical screening.
