Background: Since the 1990 s,China has entered the ranks of an aging society in advance,and the population structure has undergone major changes.The health of the elderly has become one of the focuses of the society.As one of the core technologies of modern geriatrics,comprehensive geriatric assessment(CGA)plays an important role in the scientific and comprehensive health management of the elderly.Objective: In order to understand the social population structure,economic level,living habits,health status and related influencing factors of the elderly and explore the favorable factors of the elderly,and to provide a reference for further scientific management of the physical and mental health of the elderly and early diagnosis and treatment of geriatric diseases.Methods: From July 2017 to August 2018,CGA was performed on inpatients in the geriatric wards of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.The data of the evaluation were applied to IBM SPSS Statistics 21 for statistical analysis.Frequency and percentagedescription,analyzed by chi-square test rank sum test.Measurement data were analyzed by T test,analysis of variance,and multivariate analysis using logistic regression analysis.P<0.05 indicates that the difference is statistically significant.Results: According to the definition of the World Health Organization(WHO),people over ?80 years old are advanced ages.The study included a total of 551 advanced ages,288(52.3%)males and 263 females(47.7%).The married people was 66.8%,and the proportion of large and medium-sized cities accounted for 90.0%.The education level is mainly undergraduate/college,accounting for 31.2%,54.3% of senior citizens are high-income people in Chongqing,68.4% are employee medical insurance;60.6% of advanced ages do not participate in physical exercise,86.2% have visual problems,64.4% of hearing problems,51.8 % is a weak state,and56.3% is in a good nutritional state.94% of these elderly people are comorbidity,67.9% of the elderly have impaired activities of daily living(ADL),56.8% have cognitive function disorders,and 53.2% of mental health assessment results are abnormal.Conclusion: Advanced ages generally have problems such as hearing impairment,weakness,and comorbidity,and their ADL and cognitive function are gradually worsening.High education,good economic status,and living in the city are favorable factors for longevity.
