Objective:By measuring the actual cervical morphology and volume of isolated cervical specimens,we evaluated the accuracy of two-dimensional ultrasound measurement of cervical morphology and volume, and provided a methodological basis for monitoring the morphology and volume changes of the cervix.Methods:43 hysterectomy patients who were operated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from September 2016 to March2017 were included in the study, before the hysterectomy, the cervical anteroposterior diameters, transverse diameters and longitudinal diameters were measured by transvaginal two-dimensional ultrasound, after the operation, the anteroposterior diameters, transverse diameters and longitudinal diameters were measured by vernier caliper, using the the displacement volume of Normal saline to measure the actual cervical volume, finally all the results were statistically analyzed. Results:There was no significant difference in the transverse diameter of the cervix and the long diameter of the cervix between the two methods(P>0.05),while the anteroposterior diameter measurement of the vernier caliper method was larger than the two-dimensional ultrasonic measurement[(26.16±3.81)cm vs(24.96±4.16)cm,P<0.05].The measurement of cervical volume of drainage method is 7.5~34.5(17.74±5.78)cm~3,the measurement of two-dimensional ultrasound cervical volume is 6.68~35.85(17.68±6.20)cm~3.Compareing with the measurement of cervical volume drainage method, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The two-dimensional ultrasound has a high accuracy in the measurement of cervical morphology and actual volume.
