Clinical Study On The Effect Of Zhuangjing Decoction On Asthenospermia Of Kidney-Yang Deficiency Type And Sperm DNA Damage

Objective:to observe the effect of "Zhuangjing decoction" based on warming and tonifying kidney yang on forward motile sperm motility(Progressive motility,PR),fast forward motile sperm motility rate(Quick Progressive motility,QPR)and sperm DNA fragment rate(DNA fragmentation index,in patients with azoospermia.The curative effect of DFI),sperm concentration,total sperm count and TCM syndrome score was discussed in order to explore the mechanism of "Yang Hua Qi" theory in the treatment of male azoospermia,so as to find out for clinical treatment of this disease.Find an effective cure and prescription,and lay a foundation for the further development and utilization of Zhuangjing decoction.Methods:From January 2018 to December 2018,72 patients with oligozoospermia,who were diagnosed as kidney-yang deficiency type in the Reproductive Maternal and Child Hospital affiliated to Chengdu University of traditional Chinese Medicine,were randomly and controlled.Seventy-two patients with azoospermia who met the inclusion criteria were divided into experimental group(n = 36)and control group(n= 36).The experimental group was treated with Zhuangjing decoction and the treatment group was treated with Jigi Shenqi pills.After 12 weeks of continuous administration of the drug,the sperm concentration,total sperm count and TCM syndrome score of the subjects before and after treatment were observed to evaluate the curative effect.Results:1.There were significant differences in sperm PR,DFI,QPR and TCM syndrome score between the four groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in sperm count and sperm concentration between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05).The results showed that Zhuangjing decoction could improve the sperm DFI and TCM syndrome score of sperm PR,sperm QPR,but had no effect on the total number and concentration of spermatozoa.2.There was significant difference in sperm DFI and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in sperm PR,QPR,sperm count and sperm concentration between the four groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05).The results showed that Jinkui Shenqi Pill could improve the score of DFI,syndrome of spermatozoa,but had no effect on the sperm concentration of PR,sperm and the total number of spermatozoa.3.There was no significant difference in sperm PR,DFI and QPR between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05).4.The difference of TCM syndrome score between the two groups before and after treatment was analyzed,and the difference was statistically significant.The overall effective rate was 76.47% in the experimental group and 54.55% in the control group.It shows that Zhuangjing decoction and Jinkui Shenqi Pill can improve the TCM symptoms of patients with azoospermia,and the curative effect of Zhuangjing decoction is better than that of Jinkui Shenqi Pill.Conclusion:1.Zhuangjing decoction can improve sperm PR,QPR and DFI,in semen parameters of patients with azoospermia,improve semen quality and improve DNA damage of spermatozoa.2.Zhuangjing decoction had no effect on the total number and concentration of spermatozoa in semen parameters of patients with oligozoospermia.Both Zhuangjing decoction and Jinkui Shenqi Pill can improve the TCM symptoms of patients with azoospermia,and the curative effect of Zhuangjing decoction is better than that of Jinkui Shenqi Pill.
