Objective:To understand the epidemiological characteristics of adrenal tumors in our hospital, summarize the clinical features of adrenal tumors, and improve the diagnostic level of adrenal tumors. Methods:The clinical data of 244 patients with adrenal tumors who underwent surgical treatment in the urology department of the third Hospital of Hebei Medical University from 2014 to 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, including the number of patients, the ratio of male to female, the age of onset, and the postoperative pathological types.Clinical manifestations, preoperative laboratory and imaging data were analyzed and compared statistically. Results:During the five years from 2014 to 2018,the number of adrenal tumor patients in our hospital increased year by year.244 cases weretreated in our hospital. The ratio of male to female was different, and the ratio of female to male was more than that of male(male: female =1 / 1.49).The age of onset ranged from 19 to 72,with an average of 45.45 ±16.27 years, with 187 cases(76.64%)in the 31-50-year-old age group. The pathological results of 244 cases showed that 114 cases were functional tumors and 130 cases were non-functional tumors.Among thethree functional adrenal tumors, aldosterone adenoma was most common(54.39%),followed by pheochromocytoma(30.70%)and cortisol adenomas(14.91%).Among 62 cases of aldosterone adenomatosis diagnosed pathologically,48 cases(77.42%)had hypertension,58 cases(93.54%)hadhypokalemia.Among 35 patients with pheochromocytoma diagnosed pathologically, all of them had hypertension of varying degrees, the range of blood pressure fluctuation was large, palpitations and hyperhidrosis were found in 17 cases(48.57%),dizziness,hyperhidrosis in 17 cases(48.57%),dizziness in 17 cases(48.57%)with hyperhidrosis. There were 20cases(57.14%)with head pain and 25 cases(71.42%)with positive results of serum catecholamine test.13(86.67%)of the 15 patients with cortisol adenomas showed a full moon face, and the results showed that the cecholamine test was positive in 20 patients(57.14%)and in 25 patients(71.42%).Eight patients(61.64%)with hypertension were diagnosed as concentric obesity or the appearance of multi-blood.In terms of tumor size, about 65% of the cortical adenoma has a maximum diameter of not more than 3 cm,and about 83% of the functional pheochromocytoma has a maximum diameter of more than 3 cm and a maximum diameter of 70% of the adrenal benign cyst is distributed between 3 and 8 cm.Conclusion:The number of patients with adrenal tumors, more women than men,and the age of onset was concentrated at 31 to 50 years old.Among the three functional adrenal tumors, aldosterone adenoma was the most common, followed by pheochromocytoma and cortisol adenomas. After comparing the pathologicalresults with clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging examinations,it was found that the clinical manifestations of the patients were not completely consistent with the pathological results, and the diagnosis should be combined with the clinical symptoms and signs.Laboratory examination and imaging examination were used to evaluate adrenal tumors. In terms of tumor size, adrenal cortical adenomas are usually smaller in diameter, smaller than functional pheochromocytoma and adrenal benign cysts.
