Analysis Of Monitoring Data Of Brucellosis In Occupational Population In Yixing City

Objective:The goal of this paper is to analyze the awareness rate of prevention and treatment of brucellosis,as well as the positive rate of brucellosis serum antibody and affecting factors in occupational population in Yixing City in order to find out the inadequacies and weak links in the prevention and control of brucellosis,and to provide evidence for prevention and control measures for brucellosis.Methods:1.Questionnaires were used to understand the awareness rate of prevention and treatment of brucellosis in occupational population.The cross-sectional awareness rates of five consecutive years from 2013 to 2017 and the reliability of the corresponding questionnaires were analyzed.The comparison of the awareness rate in 2017 using chi-square test between(among)the levels of factors,such as employment time,type of work,etc.Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of the awareness rate of prevention and treatment of brucellosis in occupational population in 2017.2.RBPT and SAT methods were used to detect brucellosis serum antibodies in occupational population.The seropositive changes in five years from 2013 to 2017 were analyzed.The comparison of the positive rates of serum antibody in 2017 using chi-square test between(among)the levels of factors,such as employment time,type of work,etc.Results:1.The Cronbach's ? coefficients of the 10 questions related to the awareness rate from 2013 to 2017 were more than 0.7.The annual questionnaire had high reliability and consistency.2.The awareness rates of brucellosis among the occupational population in Yixing City were basically stable from 2013 to 2016 but slightly increased in 2017.The awareness rates in 5 years were 32.49%,35.81%,31.97%,26.43%,and 54.62%,respectively.There was no statistical difference in the awareness rate of brucellosis in 2017 among the levels of gender,age,employment time,type of work,and education.Binary logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship on the awareness rate of brucellosis with gender,age,employment time,type of work,education level,that the higher the degree of education,the higher the awareness rate was prompted.3.The positive rates of serum brucellosis antibodies in occupational population in Yixing City were 19.41%,11.35%,13.52%,7.50%,and 14.86% respectively from 2013 to 2017.There was no professionally interpretable and statistically significant relationship between the positive rates of serum antibody in 2017 with factors,such as gender,age,time of employment,type of work,education,and awareness rate of brucellosis.Conclusion:The awareness rate of brucellosis in the occupational population in Yixing City have not been steadily improved in the past 5 years,and the positive rate of serum antibody have not been decreased.Factors,such as the awareness rates of brucellosis,were not found to be statistically correlated with the positive rates of serum antibody.It is recommended that members of the Leading Group for Prevention and Control of Brucellosis in Yixing further implement the relevant policies of the State and Jiangsu Province Brucellosis Control Plan,continue to strengthen health education,and increase the protective measures of the occupational population,so as to avoid brucellosis from the respiratory system,digestive system,and contact.
