Objective:Bipolar disorder,is a type of mood disorder that is clinically manifested by recurrent episodes of mania and depression.Bipolar depression,in which the bipolar disorder is in a state of depression. The affective temperaments and cognitive emotion regulation of patients with mood disorders are different from those of healthy people. The study aims to construct a structural equation model in which cognitive emotion regulation and its factors play a mediating role in affective temperaments and bipolar depression, and the model is tested the fitness. From the perspective of social psychology, explore the factors that are meaningful for the diagnosis and treatment of bipolar depression.Methods:83 patients with bipolar depression(patient group)who met the diagnostic criteria of the American Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders(DSM-5)and 165 healthy subjects(control group)at the same time and in the same area were included.General demographic data,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Temperament Evaluation of Memphis,Pisa,Paris and San Diego-auto questionnaire version Short Chinese version(TEMPS-A),and Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(CERQ)were collected from the self-made CRF case report form.Univariate analysis, multivariate analysis and mediating effect analysis were performed on the data of patients group and control group using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS21.0 statistical software.Results:(1)The scores of affective temperament and its factors(cyclothymic temperament depressive temperament, hyperthymic temperament)in the patient group were higher than the control group, and these differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).The scores of the adaptive strategy and its factors(active re-focus,re-focus on the plan, positive re-evaluation,rational analysis)in the patient group were lower than the control group.,and these differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).The scores of the non-adaptive strategy and its factors(self-blame,rumination,catastrophizing,blaming others)werehigher than the control group, and theses difference were statistically significant(p<0.05).(2)Total scores of emotional temperament and its factors(cyclothymic temperament, depressive temperament, hyperthymic temperament)reached significant levels when predicting bipolar depression separately(p<0.05).The scores of adaptive strategy and its factors(positive re-focus,re-focus on program, positive re-evaluation,rational analysis)reached significant levels when predicting bipolar depression separately(p < 0.05).The scores of non-adaptive strategy scores and its factors(self-blame,rumination,catastrophizing scores, and blaming other)reached significant levels when predicting bipolar depression separately(p<0.05).(3)Affective temperament scores were significantly positively correlated with the scores of the non-adaptive strategies and its factors(self-blame,rumination,catastrophizing,blaming others(p<0.05).(4)The scores of the non-adaptive strategies and its factors(self-blame,catastrophizing,blaming others)have a significant mediating effect in the path of affective temperament and bipolar depression p < 0.001).Affective temperament can positively predict bipolar depression in all pathways(p<0.001).Conclusion:(1)Patients with bipolar depression have specific affective temperament characteristics compared with healthy people.Cyclothymic temperament, depressive temperament and hyperthymic temperament are more obvious.Affective temperament can directly predict bipolar depression.(2)Bipolar depression patients adopt more cognitive emotion regulation patterns of non-adaptive strategies than healthy people.(3)Non-adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and its factors self-blame,catastrophizing and blaming others have mediating effect in the path of affective temperament and bipolar depression.
