Objective:To evaluate the long-term efficacy of single or multiple single pulmonary vein isolation or combined with complex fragmentation potential ablation for atrial fibrillation. Methods:The English database was calculated and searched. The search date was as of October 2018.A prospective randomized controlled trial of single pulmonary vein isolation and combined complex fragmentation potential ablation was performed.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.3 software. Results:Compared with single pulmonary vein isolation,a single additional complex fragmentation ablation did not improve the maintenance rate of postoperative sinus rhythm [RR=1.04,95%CI(0.93,1.15),P=0.50],repeated surgery There was no improvement in the maintenance rate of postoperative sinus rhythm [RR=1.00,95%CI(0.93,1.08),P=0.98],but the recurrent atrial arrhythmia was mainly atrial tachycardia other than atrial fibrillation [RR=2.12,95%CI(1.64,2.74),P<0.00001],and increased operative time, fluoroscopy time, and ablation time. Conclusion:Additional complex fragmentation potential ablation did not improve postoperative sinus rhythm maintenance, but increased operative time, fluoroscopy time, and ablation time.
