Objective: To explore the efficacy and safety of the first generation of cryballoon catheter ablation(CBG1)and the second generation of cryballoon(CBG2)in the treatment of atrial fibrillation(AF).Methods: Articles were searched and identified from the Cochrane Library, Pub Med, EMBASE and CNKI about two generations cryballoon.According to include and exclude standards to choose the literature, assistance quality assessment and data extraction were done if the quality requirement. Meta-analyses were performed about pulmonary vein isolation(PVI) success rate、procedure duration time、fluoroscopy exposure time 、3 months with no recurrence、1 year with no recurrence and the incidence of Phrenic nerve palsy(PNP).Results: 8 articles(involving 2094 patients)were identified, the results of Meta-analysis showed that CBG2 is better than CBG1 in PVI success rate [RR=0.99, 95%CI:0.99~1.00, P<0.05], and CBG2 is better than the CBG1 in procedure duration time、fluoroscopy exposure time、3 monthswith no recurrence、1 year with no recurrence, but the incidence of PNP of CBG2 [RR=0.57, 95%CI:0.41~0.80, P<0.05] is higher than CBG1.Conclusion: CBG2 is more efficiency than the CBG1, but the corresponding PNP rate is higher than the CBG1. |
