Objective:By investigating their behavioral lifestyle, chronic disease status and quality of life, the epidemic status of major chronic diseases among residents aged 35 and over in Shanxi Province was analyzed, and the potential relationship between residents' behavioral lifestyle was explored.Based on the latent class analysis, the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases and its influencing factors was evaluated. The results could provide a scientific theoretical basis for the prevention and intervention of chronic diseases. Methods:Through the multi-stage cluster sampling method,“the Behavioral Lifestyle Questionnaire for Residents aged 35 and over” made by the research team was used to conduct on-site surveys of residents aged 35 and over in three districts of Jinbei,Jinzhong and Jinnan in Shanxi Province. In the survey,a total of 4,000 questionnaires were distributed and 3,598 copies were effectively collected.Excel,SPSS22.0,and LatentGOLD were used to sort and analyze the valid data. The measurement data was statistically described by(sx ±)and the qualitative data using the composition ratio.General data were analyzed by descriptive analysis.Measurement data were analyzed by t test or variance analysis. The qualitative variables were analyzed by Pearson chi-square test. The latent class analysis was used to explore the potential relationship between residents' behavioral lifestyle. The factors affecting the quality of life of patients with chronic disease were analyzed using multiple linear regression.Results:1.In Shanxi Province,39.47% of residents aged 35 and over reported chronic diseases. The co-morbidity rate of chronic diseases was 12.15%.The top 5 chronic diseases were hypertension(20.59%),diabetes(8.48%),rheumatoid arthritis(6.48%),hyperlipidemia(5.86%)and chronic gastroduodenal ulcer(3.17%).The top five co-morbidity rate of chronic diseases were: stroke(79.07%),coronary heart disease(73.33%),hyperlipidemia(63.42%),chronic renal failure(57.89%),and diabetes(56.07%).Gender,age,marital status, education level, and monthly income per capita of the family all affect the chronic diseases to some extent.2.The 4-cluster model is the best potential category model for exploratory potential category analysis.Potential category probability was 0.5714,0.2338,0.1254 and 0.0694 respectively.According to their respective characteristics, they were named as "basic healthy group of behavioral lifestyle","smoking-drinking group","unhealthy diet group" and "unhealthy group of behavioral lifestyle".In addition to rheumatoid arthritis, the prevalence of chronic diseases,co-morbidity,hypertension,diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia in the unhealthy diet group and smoking-drinking group were significantly higher than those in the unhealthy diet group and the basic healthy behavioral lifestyle group. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia in the unhealthy diet group was higher than that in the basic healthy behavioral lifestyle group.3.The main influencing factors of the physical health of patients with chronic diseases were comorbidity, age, educational level, gender, smoking and drinking,separation/divorce/widowhood,according to the influence intensity from high to low;the main factors of mental health of patients with chronic diseases are comorbidity, education level, unhealthy behavior and lifestyle, unreasonable diet, gender, according to the influence intensity from high to low;and the main factors of the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases are comorbidity, educational level, age, sex, unhealthy behavior and lifestyle, smoking and drinking, unreasonable diet,separation/divorce/widowhood.Conclusions:1.The situation of chronic diseases and comorbidity in Shanxi Province was still grim. There were significant differences in the prevalence of chronic diseases among residents aged 35 and over under different demographic characteristics.2.According to the behavioral lifestyle, the subjects could be divided into four potential categories: the basic healthy group of behavioral lifestyle, the smoking and drinking group, the unhealthy diet group and the unhealthy behavioral lifestyle group. The morbidity of chronic diseases was influenced by behavior and lifestyle.3.The quality of life of patients with chronic diseases was generally poor. The main influencing factors were basic demographic characteristics, chronic disease comorbidity and behavioral lifestyle, among which comorbidity had the greatest impact on the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases.
