With the acceleration of China's aging process and the gradual penetration of Internet technology,the proportion of older adults in Chinese netizens has been rising.Older adults are more concerned about health issues.The state of using online health information is an important aspect of the older adults' communication.The study of behavioral influence factors is an important issue for health communication of older adults,which has important practical significance.This study mainly explores the dimensions of the factors affecting older adults' behavioral intentions to use online health information,what are the key variables in each dimension,and the relationship between these key variables and the behavioral intentions of older adults.Based on the extended theory of planned behavior,this study studies the online health information behavioral intentions of older adults,mainly using quantitative research—questionnaires to collect specific data.Using the data analysis tool SPSS 19.0 software for factor analysis,differential analysis,regression analysis and related analysis to analyse the reasons for the behavioral intentions to use online health information.This study found that aging attitude,self-energy efficiency,subjective norm,perceived usefulness and perceived risk are the predictors of intention to use online health information,whereas,physical function,the attitude towards individual behavior and perceived easy of use was not listed among the predictors.Combined with the results of these data analysis and the sum of the problems,the study puts forward suggestions to strengthen the communication of online health information of older adults from four aspects.Firstly,strengthening the online technology literacy of older adults and enhancing the participation in network;secondly,reducing the risk of using online health information of older adults and improving the online health information literacy of them;thirdly,paying attention to the psychological change of older adults to enhancing their confidence and avoiding media dependence;finally,improving the willingness of younger generations to feed back and strengthening the intergenerational information communication with each other.
