As a common chronic disease, diabetes has the characteristics of high incidence and low treatment rate, which often requires long-term self-management of patients. With the popularity of mobile internet, mobile medicine has gradually become one of the means of prevention and control of chronic diseases. In developed countries,a large number of mobile medical APPs have been invested in the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes. However, the related research and application in China are still at the initial stage, and there are no mature products, and their effectiveness still needs a lot of validation.Based on the theory of self-management and the project of caring for diabetic patients in cooperation with a hospital in Daqing, this paper attempts to explore the effect of mobile medical APP on self-management and blood glucose control of diabetic patients. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, this paper designed a self-management intervention program for diabetes patients based on mobile medical APP,and conducted a 12-week randomized controlled trial. Then, the independent sample t-test and chi-square test were used to compare the differences in self-efficacy,self-management behavior and blood glucose control between the intervention group and the control group before and after the trial to explore the impact of mobile medical APP on self-management and blood glucose control in diabetic patients. The results showed that there were significant differences between the intervention group and the control group, and the change range of each index of the intervention group were significantly better than the control group.that is,the mobile medical APP had positive and significant effects on the patient's self-management and blood glucose control effect. In addition, this paper uses the K-prototypes clustering algorithm for mixed variables to group patients in the intervention group into four types of patients with significant differences. Then we compare the differences in online self-management behaviors of patients in mobile medical APP,and also the changes of their self-efficacy,self-management behavior and HbA1 c,to confirm the difference of APP's impact on different categories of patients. It turns out that the use of mobile medical APP does have different effects in different categories of patients, depending not only on the patient's use,but also on the patient's initial self-management baseline level. It turns out that the use of mobile medical apps does have different effects in different categories of patients, depending not only on the patient's use,but also on the patient's initial self-management baseline level.Based on the background of mobile medicine, this paper explores its mechanism of action in diabetes prevention. On the one hand,it can supplement the theoretical basis of mobile medicine in the field of diabetes prevention, and on the other hand,it can provide a more convenient way for doctors to manage diabetes patients, and provide effective advice for the personalized design and application level of future mobile medical apps.
