EGFR Receptor For Personalized Treatment Of Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial cancer is the most common gynaecological tumour in developed countries,and it's incidence is increasing.Endometrial cancer has becoming the most common in the US.,Though the incidence of endometrial cancer is lower in developing country,the mortality rate is higher.The EGFR receptor has been associated with the development and progression of many solid tumors.Despite many studies show the receptor plays an important role in other cancers,the expression of EGFR in endometrial cancer and their relationship with disease stage,grade,and response to treatment remain controversial.In this review,we describe the existing evidence for the value of EGFR as diagnostic and prognostic indicators as well as it's potential as targets in the treatment of endometrial cancer.
