Objective: To study the relationship between the expression of IGF-1R and EGFR in endometrial cancer and clinicopathological parameters,and explores their interrelations and the progression of endometrial cancer and its clinical significance.Methods: The expression levels of IGF-1R and EGFR in 49 normal endometrial tissues,42 atypical endometrial hyperplasia tissues and 156 endometrial cancer tissues were analyzed by immunohistochemical staining.The clinical data of 156 cases of endometrial cancer were retrospectively analyzed.The clinical and pathological stages of IGF-1R,EGFR and endometrial cancer were analyzed.The relationship between differentiation,typing,vascular invasion,muscle invasion,lymph node metastasis,ER,PR and so on was analyzed.The value of the two methods in predicting lymph node metastasis before operation was evaluated by combined detection.Results: 1.The expression level of IGF-1R in endometrial cancer was significantly higher than that in atypical endometrial hyperplasia and normal endometrial tissue(P < 0.01).The overexpression of IGF-1R was related to the stage,differentiation,typing,myometrial invasion,lymph node metastasis,vascular invasion and ER expression of endometrial cancer(P < 0.05),but was not related to age and PR expression level(P > 0.05).2.The expression of EGFR in endometrial cancer was significantly higher than that in atypical endometrial hyperplasia/normal endometrial tissue(P < 0.01).The overexpression of EGFR was related to the stage,differentiation,classification and lymph node metastasis of endometrial cancer(P < 0.05),but not to age,myometrial invasion,vascular invasion,ER and PR expression(P > 0.05)3.The correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between IGF-1R and EGFR(r = 0.618,P < 0.01).4.The lymph node metastasis rate of IGF1 R and EGFR double-index high-expression group was significantly higher than that of single-index high-expression group and double-index low-expression group(P < 0.05).Conclusions: IGF-1R and EGFR are closely related to the progression of endometrial cancer,especially lymph node metastasis.The combined detection of them is expected to be a molecular marker for predicting lymph node metastasis before operation,and provide guidance for precise treatment of endometrial cancer.
