Studies On The Chemical Constituents Of Dolomiaea Berardioidea(Franch.)Shih

The genus Dolomiaea comprises approximately twelve species widely distributed in the southwest of China,and a few are in Myanmar.Dolomiaea berardioidea(Franch.)Shih,commonly known as "Hou Ye Chuan Mu Xiang" traditional Chinese medicine,is mainly scattered in Lijiang,Yunnan Province,China.Previous researches have manifested that the genus Dolomiaea is a rich source of several classes of chemical constituents,including sesquiterpenoids,phenylpropanoids,triterpenoids,steroids and flavonoids.In order to figure out bioactive compounds of the whole plants of D.berardioidea(Franch.)Shih,we did the following researches.The whole plants of D.berardioidea(Franch.)Shih were collected in Lijiang,Yunnan Province,P.R.China,in October 2016,and identified by Prof.Baokang Huang,Department of Pharmacogonosy,School of Pharmacy,Second Military Medical University.An authentic specimen(No.201610HYCMX)was deposited at the School of Pharmacy,Shanghai Jiao Tong University.Under various chromatographic methods(e.g.silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,analytical-HPLC,preparative-HPLC,MPLC and TLC)and spectroscopic analyses(e.g.IR,CD,XRD,ESI-M,HR-ESI-MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR,and 2D NMR),32 compounds were isolated and identified from D.berardioidea(Franch.)Shih,including one coumarin compound,twelve lignan compounds,eleven terpenoids,two acetylenic compounds,six aromatic compounds.Among them,CMX-3,CMX-4,CMX-14,CMX-15 were elucidated as new compounds.In our research,we tested the antimicrobial activity of 30 isolated compounds against nine bacterias and one fungus using microbroth dilution method.As a result CMX-1,CMX-12,CMX-18,CMX-24 showed great activities against Candida albicans.At the same time,these four compounds showed moderate activities against some bacterias.
