Objectives To understand the current situation of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy, and to analyze the related influencing factors in order to provide objective basis for early clinical detection and timely targeted intervention measures. Methods From November 2017 to October 2018,a face-to-face questionnaire survey was conducted among female breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy admitted to the department of breast surgery in Tangshan people's Hospital.Social Avoidance and Distress Scale(SAD),self-designed questionnaire on general conditions, occupational and economic factors, disease factors, therapeutic factors, chemotherapy symptoms, psychological factors, support factors, blood test indicators and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were used as the survey tool to investigate the status of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy and analyze its influencing factors.Excel was used to input the data and SPSS17.0 software was used to analyze the data.Mean and standard deviation((?)±s)was used to describe the measurement data.Frequency and percentage(%)were used to describe the counting data.Single-factor analysis was performed with independent sample t-test or variance analysis.Correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between sleep quality and social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy, and multivariate stepwise regression analysis was used for the multivariate analysis. Results 1 The status of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy: the score of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy was(13.13±7.83),which was higher than that of normal and female incontinence patients. The score of each dimension was(8.07±4.41)for social avoidance and(5.06±4.12)for social distress.2 Single-factor analysis of the degree of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy: the results showed that age, marital status, place of residence, education, personality, occupation, medical payment, monthly family income per capita, course of disease, current lymph node metastasis, pathological stage, chemotherapy cycle, treatment, surgical procedure, nausea, vomiting, depression, fatigue, alopecia, memory loss, decreased sexuality,self-image,change of personality, worry about prognosis, spouse support, parental support, child support, sibling support, neighborhood support,friend/colleague support, white blood cell were associated with the degree of social avoidance and distressin breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy, and the differences were of statistically significant(P<0.05).The degree of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy had a high positively correlated with their sleep quality index(r=0.745,P<0.05).3 Multivariate analysis of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy: taking the score of social avoidance and distress as the dependent variable, the 31 variables with statistical significance in the univariate analysis and the total score of sleep quality index were included in the regression equation for multivariate stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that pathological stage, chemotherapy cycle, vomiting, fatigue, alopecia, memory loss, change of personality, worry about prognosis, spouse support, sibling support, neighborhood support,friend/colleague support, white blood cell, sleep quality were associated with the degree of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy. Conclusions Breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy had a higher degree in social avoidance and distress, higher than that in normal and female incontinence patients.Pathological stage, chemotherapy cycle, chemotherapy symptoms(vomiting, fatigue, alopecia, memory loss),psychological factors(change of personality, worry about prognosis),support factors(spouse support, sibling support, neighborhood support,friend/colleague support),white blood cell count and sleep quality were associated with the degree of social avoidance and distress in breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy.Figure 0;Table 14;Reference 106...
