Objective: To analyze the clinical features of epilepsy induced by focal cortical dysplasia(FCD)in children. Methods: The clinical data of 38 with epilepsy induced by focal cortical dysplasia from January,2012 to December,2016 were analyzed with the clinical features, imaging findings,EEG findings, and surgical effect. Results: Generalized tonic-clonic seizures is the most common form in clinical seizures. The most common lesion of FCD imaging was temporal lobe, and children with different FCD type, difference of lesion location was not statistically significant.Magnetic resonance spectrum(MRS)showed that the peak of NAA reduced in all types of FCD,and the peak of Cho peak reduced in some FCD ?b type.In patients with intractable epilepsy focal cortical dysplasia of different FCD types saused by there were great consistence between the location of interictal discharges on scalp EEG and FCD focus. There was a proper match between the Intraoperative cortical electroencephalogram(ECoG)and FCD focus. The clinical effect of FCD children was 71 %,and children with different FCD type, difference of clinical effect was not statistically significant.Children with different FCD type had made great progress in neuropsychological assessment after the surgery. Conclusion: Generalized seizures was most common in epilepsy induced by focal cortical dysplasia(FCD)in children. The electroencephalogram(EEG)detection of scalp during the period of onset has certain accuracy in locating epileptic focusesi, while ECoG localization is more accurate. The postoperative curative effect of various pathological types FCD is good.
