Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of orthopaedic insoles and braces in children with in-toeing gait.Methods: Children from Chongqing Children's Hospital during the period of 2016-2018 were selected to exclude the deformities caused by trauma,bones,muscles and nervous system diseases.They were divided into 4 groups: insole group,brace group,insole and brace Group,untreated group.Thirty patients in each group were enrolled in the biomechanical data of the lower extremities,including hip internal and external rotation angles,tibial torsion angle,progressive angle,and compare the efficacy before and after treatment.Results: Comparison of biomechanical data before and after treatment in the same child,the insole group improved obviously in 23 cases,no obvious effect in 7 cases,the improvement rate was 76.67%;the brace group improved obviously in 25 cases,no obvious effect in 5 cases,the improvement rate was 83.33%;the insole and brace group improvedobviously in 29 cases,no obvious effect in 1 case,the improvement rate was 96.67%;the untreated group improved significantly 11 cases had no obvious effect in 19 cases,and the improvement rate was 36.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: The use of orthopedic insoles and brace to treat children's in-toeing gait is effective,and the combination of the two is better.
