Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Betahistine Mesilate Tablets In The Treatment Of Meniere Disease

Objective:By observing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Betahistine in the treatment of patients with Meniere disease(MD).This paper explores the advantages of combination the treatment of MD,and provides a clinical basis for the promotion of acupuncture combined with Betahistine treatment of MD.Methods:We analysed 60 patients with MD who met the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine.All patients are from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Otolaryngology in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine during March 2018 to December 2018.The patients were divided into treatment group and control group by using the remainder method of random table,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated by acupuncture combined with Betahistine,treatment 1 times a day,6 days for a course of treatment,a total of 4 courses,a course of rest for 1 days.During acupuncture treatment,the daily Betahistine of the 6mg/times was given 3 times a day.The control group was treated with Merislon alone.After four courses of treatment,according to the efficacy evaluation in the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of Meniere disease(2017),we selected the number of Vertigo seizures,dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),Tinnitus handicap inventory(THI)and visual analogue scale(VAS)to determine the curative effect.Results:1.Number of dizziness seizures: we followed up the number of dizziness(excluded from non-MD)after treatment within 6 months,and used the formula in the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of MD(2017)to calculate.After treatment,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(p<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group in controlling the number of dizziness seizures.2.DHI score: Before treatment,the two groups of patients were compared with the DHI scale,the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05),indicating that the two groups of pre-treatment symptom score is comparable.After treatment,the scores of the two groups of DHI were compared in groups,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),which showed that both groups could reduce the DHI score,and thedifferences between the groups were statistically significant(p<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was superior to the control group.In addition,we calculated the emotional scores of DHI scales of the two groups separately,and found that,in the treatment group,the comparison of the emotional scores before and after treatment was different significantly(p<0.05),in the control group,the difference was not significant(P >0.05).It shows that acupuncture combined with Betahistine can improve the mood of MD patients.3.THI scale: Before treatment,the two groups of patients were compared with the THI scale,the difference was not statistically significant(p > 0.05).After the treatment,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),The results showed that both the treatment group and the control group were effective for tinnitus and the treatment group was superior to the control group.4.Visual analogue scale(VAS): Before the treatment,inter-group comparison is no significant difference(p>0.05),the two groups are comparable.After treatment,there was no statistical difference in the control group(p>0.05),and there was a statistical difference in the treatment group(p<0.05).It was proved that the treatment group had improved symptoms of ear fullness sensation,but the control group did not.Conclusion:1.The two treatments of MD has its curative effect.2.Acupuncture combined with Betahistine has better clinical effect than Betahistine alone,and can also improve tinnitus,ear swelling and anxiety and fear.
