Effects Of Ginger Moxibustion And Modified Yuebi Tang On Primary Enuresis With The Lung And Brain Depression

Objective: To observe the curative effects and safety indexes of ginger moxibustion and modified Yuebi Tang on treating primary enuresis with the lung and brain depression.Methods: 72 cases aged from 5 to 14 years with primary enuresis in pediatric department of The affiliated hospital of Chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine from November 2017 to December 2018 were randomly and equally divided into the experimental and control group by SAS.The treatment group was used ginger moxibustion and modified Yuebi Tang,and control group was only used modified Yuebi Tang.The trial was performed for 8 weeks.The efficiencies,syndromes and safety were analyzed after follow-up at2,4,6and 8 weeks.The long-term effects were evaluated at 6 months.SPSS Statistics22.0 software was used to make data statistics and analyze the results.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in baseline data such as age and gender between the two groups(p > 0.05).(2)Both groups had curative effects in improving the main symptoms of children(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the experimental group was better than the control group((p < 0.05)).However,at the end of treatment,there was no remarkable difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The two groups had curative effects in improving secondary symptoms of children(P<0.05).The treatment group was obviously better than the control group in improving hyperactivity and constipation.The curative effects on improving enuresis were observed(P<0.05),and The treatment group was better than the other group on the total curative effects of syndromes(p > 0.05).The short-term curative effects in the two group at the 2,4 and 6 week was notable,and the overall short-term curative effects were continuously improved along with the course of treatment(P<0.05),The treatment group was better than the other group at 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the onset time of the experimental group was earlier than that of the control group.After treatment,the short-term curative effects of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no outstanding difference between the two groups in long-term curative effec(P>0.05).During the trial,no adverse reactions occurred in 61 children,and there was no abnormal change in general examination and auxiliary examination.Conclusion: Both treatment schemes could improve the main symptoms of primary enuresis,such as enuresis frequency,etc.The short-term curative effect of ginger moxibustion and modified Yuebi Tang group earlier rappeared than that of the control group,the curative effect was better than that of the control group,and the improvement of hyperactivity and constipation was obviously better than that of the control group.There were no adverse reactions in the trial of the two groups of children,which was worthy of further study and application.
