Objective:Anxiety(depression)self-rating scale was used to evaluate the relationship between anxiety and depression in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and its general condition, clinical features and endocrine metabolic indicators.Methods:130 patients with PCOS diagnosed in the gynecological endocrinology clinic from October 2017 to December 2018 were enrolled. The anxiety SAS(depression SDS)self-rating scale was used to score the database. The database was used to analyze the anxiety and depression scores and compare them with the general situation(Age,menstrual cycle, infertility years, clinical characteristics(obesity,Kaohsiung signs),endocrine metabolic indicators(insulin resistance, hyperandrogenism),and the presence or absence of anxiety(depression)were compared again. Results:The mean age of 130 patients with PCOS was 23.2±3.5 years, the average score of anxiety self-rating scale was 39.43±0.79,113 without anxiety,11 with mild anxiety,4with moderate anxiety, and 2 with severe anxiety. The average score of the self-rating depression scale was 40.65±11.60,104 without depression,16 with mild depression,7with moderate depression, and 4 with severe depression. The age of PCOS patients was positively correlated with anxiety(r=0.134),P<0.05,which was statistically significant. The menstrual cycle was positively correlated withanxiety and depression(r=0.115,0.149),P<0.05,statistically significant; The detection rate of anxiety in PCOS patients with pregnancy was higher, the difference was statistically significant, but the correlation between infertility years and anxiety and depression was not statistically significant. The effect of obesity on the detection rate of anxiety was statistically significant and related.Sex(r=0.126),the correlation was statistically significant;however, there was no significant difference in the effect of insulin resistance on the detection rate of anxiety and depression;Kaohsiung signs and hyperandrogenism had no significant effect on the detection rate of anxiety and depression. The BMI of PCOS patients with anxiety was higher than that of PCOS patients without anxiety. The other endocrine and metabolic indicators were not significantly different. There were no significant differences in endocrine and metabolic indicators between PCOS patients with depression.Conclusion:1.The older the PCOS patients, the higher the anxiety score;the longer the menstrual period, the higher the anxiety and depression scores;2.PCOS patients with infertility have a higher rate of anxiety detection;3.The rate of anxiety detection in obese PCOS patients is higher, and the higher the BMI,the higher the anxiety score;4.The infertility years,Kaohsiung and insulin resistance of PCOS patients were not related to anxiety and depression.
