Objective:The expression of B7-H3 and the content of IFN-γ in the blood and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)of patients with glioma were detected.The relationship between the expression of B7-H3 in the blood and cerebrospinal fluid and the pathological grade and the correlation with IFN-γ in the patients with glioma were also studied.Methods:By incorporating and excluding criteria,Blood and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)samples from the neurosurgery department of the first Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from October 2016 to October 2018 were collected from 38 patients with gliomas diagnosed by the Department of Pathology of the first Hospital of Shanxi Medical University as the experimental study group.Ten patients without nervous system related diseases were selected as control group,cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)and blood were taken as control group.The collected blood samples were centrifuged by centrifuge and the serum was extracted.Then store the serum samples and cerebrospinal fluid at-80 ℃ until they are used in the experiment.The expression of bB-H3(sB7-H3)and the content of IFN-γ in serum and cerebrospinal fluid samples were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(elisa).Analysis of the correlation between the content of B7-H3 in blood and cerebrospinal fluid and clinical characteristics in patients with glioma.The relationship between B7-H3 and pathological types of glioma and the correlation between B7-H3 and IFN-γ were also evaluated.Results:The expression level of B7-H3 in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with high grade glioma was significantly higher than that of B7-H3 in low grade group(7.92 ±2.97ng/ml and 2.14 ±1.18 ng/ml,respectively).The expression level of B7-H3 in cerebrospinal fluid of control group was 0.48 ±0.27ng/ml.The expression level of B7-H3 in glioma was significantly higher than that in control group(P < 0.05).The expression level of B7-H3 in blood of patients with high grade glioma was significantly higher than that of B7-H3 in low grade group(16.81 ±5.41ng/ml and 10.89 ±2.98 ng/ml,respectively).The expression level of B7-H3 in blood of control group was 16.64 ±4.61,there was no correlation between the expression of B7-H3 in blood of patients with glioma.The correlation analysis between the expression of b7-h3 in cerebrospinal fluid and blood and the expression of ifn-γ was correlated,respectively(r=-0.061,P=0.001)and(r=-0.446,P=0.005).Conclusion:The expression of B7-H3 in cerebrospinal fluid and blood of patients with glioma was positively correlated with the pathological grade of the patients.The expression of B7-H3 in cerebrospinal fluid and blood was correlated with the content of IFN-γ,and there was a negative correlation.
