Objective:To explore the expression and significance of vitamin D?VD?in patients with rheumatoid arthritis?RA?,and analyze the relationship between the expression and imaging changes.Method:178 RA patients met the standard were divided into 148 cases of the 25-?OH?D deficiency group(<20 ngˇmL-1),30 cases of the 25-?OH?D non-deficiency group(?20 ngˇmL-1)according to the different levels of 25-?OH?D.150 healthy people accepted body examination at the same time were selected as healthy group. The difference in age, sex, swollen joints counts?SJC?,tenderness joints counts?TJC?,visual analog pain score?VAS?,and DAS28-score,and carpal imaging changes of X-ray,MRI,US and the scores were compared among the two or three groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze relationship between 25-?OH?D level and these indexes at the same time. Results:Compared with the four groups, the age,SJC,TJC,VAS,ESR,DAS28,imaging changes of X-ray,MRI,US and the scores were significantly increased in the25-?OH?D insufficiency group?P<0.05?.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the levels of 25-?OH?D and age?r=-0.359,P<0.05?,SJC?r=-0.3812,P<0.05?,TJC?r=-0.031,P<0.05?,VAS?r=-0.133,P<0.05?,ESR?r=-0.625,P<0.05?,DAS28?r=-0.574,P<0.05?,score of OMERACT-RAMRIS?r=-0.214,P<0.05?and US?r=-0.158,P<0.05?were positively correlated in the patients with the levels of25-?OH?D.Conclusion:Vitamin D is generally deficient in RA patients, which is significantly correlated with disease activity and imaging changes.
