Objective The effect of male chromosome polymorphism on the outcome of assisted reproductive pregnancy in infertile couples was analyzed retrospectively. Methods A total of 1381 cycles of infertile couples undergoing IVF from February 2010 to November 2018 were collected from the Reproductive Medical Center of our hospital.According to the polymorphism of male chromosomes, they were divided into chromosome polymorphism group(CPP)(n=114)and normal chromosome group(NCP)(n=1267).A total of 757 infertile couples received in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)(CPP 78 cases,NCP 679 cases)and 624 couples received intrafollicular sperm injection-embryo transfer(ICSI-ET)(CPP 36 cases,NCP 588 cases). There were 689 cases of normal semen,61 cases of oligospermia,7 cases of severe oligospermia and 0 cases of azoospermia in IVF-ET group,155 cases of normal semen,141 cases of oligospermia,168 cases of severe oligospermia and 160 cases of azoospermia in ICSI-ET group.By comparative analysis:the distribution of chromosome polymorphism and its relationship with sperm concentration;CPP and NCP in IVF-ET and ICSI-ET groups in male sperm quality(sperm concentration, total number of forward motile sperm),infertility years, age and women's basic endocrine hormone levels(E2,P,FSH,PRL,FT3,FT4),total dose of Gn initiation, endometrial thickness on day of oocyte retrieval, endometrial thickness on transplantation day The differences of degree, number of embryos transferred, number of abortions,BMI,and the effects of CPP and NCP on pregnancy outcomes(implantation rate, fertilization rate, transplanted embryo rate, high quality embryo rate, biochemical pregnancy rate, clinical pregnancy rate, delivery rate, and early abortion rate)were studied to determine whether male chromosome polymorphism in infertile couples affected the outcome of assisted reproductive pregnancy. Results 1.CPP and NCP in IVF-ET and ICSI-ET groups showed no significant difference in age, infertility years, sperm concentration, total forward motile sperm and female age,BMI,number of abortions, levels of basic endocrine hormones, total dose of Gn initiation, endometrial thickness on the day of oocyte retrieval, endometrial thickness on the day of transplantation and number of embryos transferred.2.There was no significant difference in the incidence of male chromosome polymorphism at different semen quality levels compared with those with normal chromosomes.3.In IVF-ET group, compared with NCP group, the transplantable embryo rate and high-quality embryo rate were significantly lower(38.02%vs.45.91%,P?0.008;23.64%vs.30.00%,P=0.020),and the difference was significant.Compared with NCP group, the transplantable embryo rate and high-quality embryo rate in normal semen group were also significantly lower(36.36%vs.45.45%,P=0.004;22.55%vs.29.26%,P?0.018).There was no significant difference in pregnancy outcome between oligospermia patients and NCP patients.4.1n ICSI-ET group, compared with NCP group, the rate of transplantable embryos decreased(36.98%vs.44.87%,P=0.036).The rate of high-quality embryos in normal semen group was significantly lower than that in NCP group(17.78%vs.32.54%,P=0.047).The fertilization rate in severe oligozoospermia group was significantly lower than that in NCP group(56.82%vs.75.28%,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in pregnancy outcome between oligospermia and azoospermia CPP and NCP.Conclusion 1.Male chromosome polymorphism is not related to sperm concentration.2.When male carriers of chromosome polymorphism were treated with IVF-ET,the rate of transplantable embryos and high-quality embryos decreased, but there was no effect on pregnancy outcomes such as fertilization, implantation, delivery and abortion.3.When male carriers of chromosome polymorphism were treated with ICSI-ET,the rate of transplantable embryos decreased, but it had no effect on pregnancy outcomes such as fertilization,high-quality embryo rate, implantation, delivery and abortion.
