Objective To explore the prognostic factors of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods Retrospective case control was used Collected in January 2010 to June 2013 in the third affiliated hospital of Suzhou university(Changzhou first people's hospital)line of surgical treatment of 197 cases of thoracic segment esophageal cancer patients, all through the right thoracic esophageal cancer radical surgery way, including esophageal cancer resection of the right chest, right in the middle of the upper abdomen incision(Ivor-Lewis surgery)and the left the center of the neck, chest, right upper quadrant three incision esophageal resection(McKeown surgery),lymph node cleaning the way for the modern two wild or two wild the lymph node and a half.Observation indexes:(1)Surgical and postoperative pathological diagnosis report.(2)Follow-up and survival.(3)The choice of many possible postoperative patients with esophageal squamous carcinoma group, contrast and analysis on the influential factors, such as gender, age, tumor location, tumor diameter, infiltrating depth(T),postoperative vascular tumors of gross classification, bolt, the degree of tumor cell differentiation, lymph node metastasis(N),the number of lymph node cleaning, the area of lymph node metastasis,TNM stage, lymph node metastasis rate, nerve invasion, numerical(patients' nutrition situation)in patients with preoperative albumin, prealbumin, patients with preoperative c-reactive protein values(inflammation)and CRP/propagated.TNM staging was performed according to the 2017 edition 8 of UICC/AJCC joint conmission on cancer in the United States(UICC/AJCC)esophageal cancer.(4)Subgroup analysis.Postoperative follow-up was conducted through outpatient service and telephone to understand the patient's survival. The follow-up period ended on August 20,2018.Use SPSS 20.0 software for statistical analysis.Single factor survival analysis applies Kaplan.Meier test and Log rank test,p<0.05 proved statistically significant. Results Tumor location, tumor diameter, infiltrating depth(T),lymph node metastasis(N)and lymph node metastasis, lymph node metastasis rate, tumor emboli, degree of cell differentiation,TNM staging, nerve invasion,CRP/propagated effect on the prognosis of patients were significant statistically(P<0.05),while gender, age, general numerical classification, number of lymph node cleaning, preoperative albumin, prealbumin, preoperative c-reactive protein values had no significant effect on prognosis of patients. Conclusion Tumor location, tumor diameter, infiltration depth(T),lymph node metastasis(N),lymph node metastasis region, lymph node metastasis rate, tumor thrombus, degree of cell differentiation,TNM stage, nerve invasion,CRP/Alb are the single influencing factors for the prognosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma after surgery.
